Name: Jesse

There are options for completing high school

(read the options by scrolling down the page)

Using the high school’s Course Handbook come

up with some interests that you have. They could be specific courses
(example: fashion or mechanics) or they could be interests that you’ve held
for a while (example: dancing, hockey, reading books, going to the skate
park, etc).
Things that I am interested in. Either specific courses or hobbies I enjoy.
Come up with at least 6 things:

- Hockey Baseball Basketball volleyball skiing snowboarding

videogames making videos

Come up with at least 3 skills that you currently have at this stage in
your life. You can use this website to help you come up with ideas for
skills that you might have. Examples of Skills. You can choose to write the
main heading skill if you find you resonate with a lot of the sub-categories
(example: organizational skills) or you can choose just a sub-category skill
(example: time management)

- Sports
- 3d design
- Video games
- Making Cookies and pancakes

Think about two occupations that sound interesting to you at this stage
in your life. Consider the interests and skills you have identified above.
Use Explore Occupations in Alberta - alis to help you search!
First occupation Choice:

Why do you find this occupation interesting? How does it relate to your
interests and/or skills?

Second occupation Choice:

Why do you find this occupation interesting? How does it relate to your
interests and/or skills?

Using either of these occupation choices, what are TWO possible

goals you could make that would help you attain this career or job?
They could do with marks, how you will achieve certain grades, what
you could change about your current ethic, skills you would like to
obtain, or how you could increase your ability to be hired (example:
volunteering- but be specific!)
Ensure they are specific and measurable: SMART Goal planning
