My Introduction

Hi everyone, my name is Elisa Salazar Davila which is also my preferred name

Elisa. My pronouns are she/her. I’m taking this course to become a nurse which is
the major I have always wanted to study since I was little. I was born in Tucson; but
during my childhood, I lived in Phoenix, Tucson, and Nogales. Now I have been in
Nogales Arizona for 10 years. I started my working life at the age of 16 in a popular
restaurant Peter Piper Pizza. After that, I moved into the Plasma Donation Center
which is a job I enjoy and appreciate. Then I worked in Mariposa Community
Health Center for a few years until a new opportunity opened for me which is my
current job, I’m into Athenahealth Software Healthcare Company.
When I worked in Mariposa, a co-worker taught me how to crochet, which is a
hobby I have enjoyed since then. I crochet many things I’m proud of like scarves,
blankets, hats, bikini tops, bears, and I’m considering selling them! Another hobby I
have is watching movies and collecting old cassettes and CDs
A year ago, I started doing weights as well as doing long walks which I enjoy
because I like to admire different landscapes. I own a dog named Harley; she is
one year and seven months and she was born on New Year's Eve.
My advice for my classmates is to be organized, manage your time If you work and
study, and also time for yourself. I hope you guys enjoy my introduction and get to
know me a little bit better.

it's very cool that you are studying to be a dentist and that you are already working

am glad that we share the same hobby of walking and I share that the heat in
