Good Afternoon to one and all present here.

My name is ________________ and I am a student of B.Tech (1 st year) under the
faculty of Science and Technology.
I welcome all dignitaries, faculties and students on the Fourth day of the
workshop on “Skill Development using 3-D Printing” which is organized by the
mechanical engg. dept of Icfai University Tripura . The topic for today’s session is
about “Additive manufacturing (AM) technology: 3D Printing Technologies
and Materials.”

I would also like to welcome Mr. Swaroop Sai Kumar from Inaya Technologies
Pvt Ltd. who has joined us on this workshop today. We are really grateful to have
him here with us on this workshop despite his busy schedule. He has huge
expertise in the field of 3D printing technology. He has a lot of experience in this
growing field. We believe that whatever knowledge we will gain from them will
definitely be beneficial for our future.

Now I would like to request respected Prof. (Dr.) Tapan Kumar Mandal sir to
start the programme by addressing the speakers and audience with his welcome
speech.

3-D printing technology is the growing need for each and every industries. This
technology not only helps in increasing the flexibility in the production flow and
reduce industrial expenses, but, also it prevents the wastage of raw materials.
Thanks to 3-D printing, industries are able to meet the increasing demands of the
market. The manufacturing of complex designs and structures has become far more
easier with this technology.
With this, I would like to invite Mr. Swaroop Sai Kumar from Inaya
Technologies Pvt Ltd. to give us a brief idea about “Additive manufacturing
(AM) technology: 3D Printing Technologies and Materials”.
