Aim: Perform basic CLI commands to configure switch and router.

Practical :-
First open Cisco paket Tracer than Open Network devices Menu.

Select any type of Switch Model, one PC, and one router drag and drop in to a logical
workspace.
Choose connecting cable for Device connections, and we have to connecting PC to Switch to
router in series connection.

Open router setting interface and, in that window, we have one menu CLI and configure with

In IP configuration set IPv4 Address and subnet mask and default gateway.

Now Testing whether pc and router are connected or not: 6. Open Pc Device
Settings and Open Desktop Menu and Select Command Prompt and type ping

Conclusion : In the above experiment, I familiarized myself with essential networking concepts
and commands for configuring devices. I gained hands-on experience in executing fundamental
commands such as setting hostnames, configuring, and implementing various password methods.
Additionally, I learned how to navigate through different operational modes for both switches and
routers. This practical exposure has provided me with a foundational understanding of network
device configuration, which will be invaluable for further exploring and mastering advanced
networking setups.
