and V3 1 j 0 and keeping V2 1.0 p.u, determine the phasor values of V2 and V3.
Perform 2 iterations. For the second iteration, take the same Jacobian as obtained in the
first iteration.
c) Obtain power flow solution using Fast Decoupled Load Flow Method algorithm. Perform
two iterations.
5. A sample 4 bus system is described below: The line and transformer parameters are
indicated on 100 MVA base. Transformer has taps towards bus-3 and set at1.1 p.u.
a) Form Ybus and write down power flow equations in polar and rectangular coordinates.
b) Write the elements of Jacobian used in polar as well as rectangular versions of NR load
flow method. (Assume flat voltage start).
c) Form B' and B ' ' matrices used in FDLF model. Using FDLF model compute the bus
voltages at bus 3 and bus 4. Perform one iteration.
