Instructions. Answer each of the following.

A. Given the following functions.

𝟑 𝟐𝒙−𝟏
𝒇(𝒙) = 𝒙 + 𝟏, 𝒈(𝒙) = 𝒙𝟐 – 𝟓𝒙, 𝒉(𝒙) = , 𝒋(𝒙)𝟑𝒙 + 𝟏
𝟐 𝟑𝟑

Find the following:

1. (𝑓 ∘ 𝑔) (𝑥) 7. (𝑓 ∘ 𝑗) (𝑥)
2. (𝑔 ∘ 𝑗) (𝑥) 8. (𝑗 ∘ ℎ) (𝑥)
3. (𝑓 ∘ ℎ) (𝑥) 9. (𝑔 ∘ 𝑗) (𝑥)
4. (𝑔 ∘ 𝑓) (−3) 10. (ℎ ∘ 𝑓) (4)
5. (𝑗 ∘ 𝑔) (−1) 11. (𝑗 ∘ 𝑓) (−5)
6. (ℎ ∘ 𝑔) (2) 12. (𝑔 ∘ 𝑔) (7)

B. Answer the following.

15. 𝐼𝑠 ℎ(𝑔(−2)) 𝑒𝑞𝑢𝑎𝑙 𝑡𝑜 𝑓(𝑔(−2))? 𝑆ℎ𝑜𝑤 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑜𝑓.
