Madam/Sir,
This is with reference to the guidelines received from NCERT on the subject
sited above and to inform that Rajya Stariya Bal Vaigyanik Pradarshani (RSBVP)
2023-24 will be conducted on the themes and sub- themes given hereunder.
Theme: - "Science and Technology for Society"
Sub-themes:

1. Health
2. LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment)
3. Agriculture
4. Communication and Transport
5. Computational Thinking

Sub-themes mentioned are suggestive in nature. Students may develop

innovative models on any other sub-theme pertaining to the Theme and Sub
Themes.
Topic for One-day Seminar: - "Millets for Health and Sustainable Planet".
Further, it is to inform that Rajya Stariya Bal Vaigyanik Pradarshani (RSBVP)
2023-24 is to be organized in KVs in physical mode as per the schedule stated
below:

Modalities to Conduct of RSBVP 2023-24 at Regional Level: -

1. Each region will initiate steps to organize School/Regional level exhibition and
complete the Regional level exhibition latest by last week of December 2023.
2. At the Regional level, each region will select three exhibit/ project under each
sub-theme for KVS National level participation.
3. In addition, two more projects prepared by differently abled students under
any of the sub theme is also to be selected for KVS National level exhibition.
Thus, a maximum of 17 Exhibit/ Projects (Total 17 Projects) will participate
from each region at the KVS National level exhibition.
4. Each selected project should be accompanied by Proforma I, III and IV (Refer
enclosed NCERT guidelines for proforma) and write up of not more than 1000
words about the exhibit. Sample write up is given in the guidelines.
5. Each region will conduct a seminar on the topic "Millets for Health and
Sustainable Planet" one day prior to Regional level exhibition.
6. Criteria for evaluation of Projects given in NCERT guidelines are to be strictly
followed.
7. Though no age restriction is prescribed for RSBVP-2023-24, preference may be
given to the students of Secondary and Senior Secondary Classes (IX-XII).

It is therefore, requested to disseminate the information to all Kendriya

Vidyalayas under the Region with an instruction to Principals for further necessary
action at their end and encourage students for the preparation of Exhibits and
Models on the suggested Theme and Sub-themes for participation in RSBVP 2023-24.
This issues with the approval of the competent authority.
