Transportation of Goods.
Ø Different category of vehicles are used during Transportation of Goods
from Manufacturer’s place ( Originating place ) to Retailer’s place ( End
Seller’s place ).

o Customer Profile and Customer Preference ::

Ø Cars and SUVs are categorized by Manufacturers as part of their
marketing strategy to address the customer’s needs and expectations.
Example :: Small and Hatchback cars are mostly preferred by First time
Buyers.
:: SUVs are mostly preferred by youth who look for Sporty looks
and More Power.

o 2007 in STFC teams were created to focus and build Different Segments /
Category of Vehicles.
o Till 2007 an Executive used to handle all category of vehicles – Trucks, Buses,
Cars, Tractors, Machines and Equipments.
o Segment wise teams helped in Specialisation, better understanding of Customer
needs, understanding of different business over the entire Business cycle
period.
o Segment wise focus, exploring potential available in every segment, reaching
deeper markets enabled company maintain its high growth rate year on year.
o AUM ( Asset Under Management ) grew from 12,000 crore in 2007 to 76,000
crore in 2016.

o 2016 structure was changed and Executive started handling all the Products that
a customer needs – Loan for purchase of Truck, Loan for purchase of Car, Loan
for purchase of Machine, Loan for doing Business.
