Bangalore from 14.09.2006 to 01.08.2008

Worked as a “Safety Officer” in various projects ( Aarati Steels limited, cuttack, VAL
Lanjigarh and VAL Jharsuguda) under ABB Limited from 04.08.2008 to 15.09.2011.
Nature of Job – construction and commissioning of 132 of and 400 KV switchyard.

Worked as Construction project specialist-EHS in GE T&D India Limited and posted at

765/132 KV switchyard, NTPC, Darliapli, Dist Sundergarh site. Successfully
completed 400 KV switchyard, GMR, Angul Odisha and BORL, Bina, MP under
Alstom T&D India Limited from 30.09.2011 to 20.03.2019

project and posted at Madurai, Tamil Nadu for Madurai Tuticorin doubling project of
140 km since 26.03.2019- Client RVNL.

Nature of Experience:

 Providing EHS Induction training and other related training on high risk activities.

 Creating safety awareness through pep talks.

 Carry out safety inspection of work area, work method, men, machine, materials, Lifting
tools and tackles and other electrical power tools.

 Help prepare job safety analysis/ HIRA for critical jobs and ensure appropriate measures
are taken to control the risk as per HIRA.

 Regular site EHS inspection and reporting the finding for taking corrective actions.

 Conducting Monthly Review meeting with site staffs to discuss the site issues and
recommended preventive measures to be taken.

 Conduct investigation of all accidents/dangerous occurrences & recommend appropriate

corrective measures.

 Advice & co-ordinate for implementation of work permit systems.

 Plan procurement of PPEs & CPEs and inspect before use.

 Monitoring administration of First-Aid.

 Conduct fire drill, procure, inspect and arrange to maintain fire extinguishers.
 Monthly EHS report, Near miss, deviations and PSE reporting

 Organize campaigns, competitions & other special emphasis programs to promote safety
in the workplace.

 Conducting training program on different High risk operation for staffs and workers on
regular basis.

 Assist site team to ensure compliance as per the EHS plan and as per work instruction.

Academic Qualifications:

HSC from Board of Secondary Education, Orissa in 1993. Secure 77%

Technical Qualifications:

Diploma in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering from UGIE (SCTE & VT),
Rourkela, Orissa in 1996. Secure 67%

Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety & Environmental Management from Dr. C.V. Raman
University, Raipur (C.G.), in 2003-2004.
Post Diploma in Industrial Safety from Koel Institute of Industrial safety(Affiliated to SCTE
& VT, Orissa). Securing 78%.

 First-Aid : St. John Ambulance.
