Spray Mining (Hydraulicking) is a mining method that uses high pressure water that

is sprayed onto rocks or deposits to release the concentration of minerals contained

therein in order to assess the Mineable deposits that can be mined
This procedural text will provide an overview of how spray mining exploration is carried
out, from claim staking to mine design.

Material:
- Area map
- High pressure pump and hose
-Spray nozzle
-Settlement ponds and flotation tanks
-Transport equipment such as loaders, conveyors, etc
-Sophisticated exploration equipment ( optional )

First Step do "Exploration"

The first step in exploration is determining the presence of minerals and then identifying
prospective locations using geological and geophysical approaches.
The Second step is to stake a claim, mapped outcrops and showings the deposit to be
mined by Making a stake claim in an area containing mineable deposits, usually near a
river or ancient waterway.
After submitting a claim, the next step is to carry out ground truthing. This involves
Carrying out field inspections and geological observations to ensure the type, age and
condition of rocks correspond to the results of surveys and exploration drilling, Carrying
out direct measurements of geological structure and deposit thickness in the field,
Carrying out topographic and depth contour surveys to validate resource models,
Carrying out infill drilling at critical locations to validate exploration drilling data,
Conducting small-scale spray testing in the field under various conditions to validate the
planned method, Measuring flow and water quality to ensure sufficient availability for
spray operations, Measuring the strength and orientation of rock fields in-depth. there.
The Third step Carry out mapping of the mining area and ore outcrops visible on The
surface. Note the location of claim stakes, ore shows, and vegetation.
The Fourth step Obtain permits and ground clearance from the relevant agencies before
starting excavation.
The fifth step Clear the area of vegetation and topsoil to expose alluvial deposits
containing mineral ore.
The sixth step Install spray equipment such as pumps, hoses and nozzles
The seventh step Direct water jet to the mine wall to release the material
The eighth step Distribute the sprayed mud to the settling pond
The ninth step use heavy equipment to collect coarse deposits.
The tenth step Pump the sludge to the flotation unit to separate the minerals
The eleventh step collect mineral concentrate and increase sludge
The twelfth step Comply with mine safety procedures and use PPE while working.
Confidence in work and Avoid working in bad weather. Report incidents or injuries
immediately.
The thirtheenth step Consult mine design with geologists to get optimal results. Follow
local mining regulations.
