Billboard has been still evident even today, despite how social media and internet
has been proactively used by mass users. One of the reasons why it has been still
relevant and one of the effective to advertise due to the people who frequently go out and
traffic has been increasing in some areas here in the Philippines.
STAAD is one of the best uses to get an accurate result, that’s it is frequently
used, especially in civil engineering. STAAD Pro is a computer program for structural
analysis and design that was created in 1997 by Research Engineers International
(REL) in California. STAAD Pro is one of the most well-known and commonly used
programs for structural analysis and design by civil engineers today. It supports all
common design regulations for steel, concrete, and wood. Civil engineers can create
any kind of structure with STAAD Pro, and the entire design team can then access the
synchronized model data. Regardless of the complexity, it guarantees the timely and
cost-effective completion of structures and designs connected to steel, concrete, timber,
aluminum, and cold-formed steel projects. STAAD Pro assists structural engineers in
automating their jobs by obviating the time-consuming and laborious manual processes.

The following are steps using STAAD pro v8i for Billboard.
Step 1: Importing the center-line plan.
Step 2: Columns and beams are depicted. Using the add beam command, we created
the beams and columns between the relevant node positions.
Step 3: We obtained a 3D image of the building by using the Transitional repeat
command in the Y direction.
Step 4: Property and support were allocated. The supports located at the system's base
are designated as fixed once the structure has been built. A cross-section of the
members of the beams and columns was allocated, and the materials were also
specified.
Step 5: Assigning the dead loads.
Step 6: Distributing live loads. Each level has a specified live load.
Step 7: Wind load assignment. The definition of wind loads depends on the computed
intensity and exposure factor.

Step 8: Load combinations are added. Following the assignment of each load, the load
combinations with pertinent safety factors are supplied.
Step 9: Analysis was done once each of the previous levels had been completed, and
we checked it for errors.
