Assignment for Self-confidence and leadership Pass on Thursday not later than 4pm at the SDPC 1 whole

yellow pad thank you

Not less than 5 sentences each

1. Write about someone in your life who you think is a great leader. How does he or
she inspire you?

For me, a leader's commitment to justice, equality, and human rights should serve as
a light for his supporters and the rest of the world. They must be prepared to give up
their own interests to uphold their values. Meriam Defensor Santiago, a former
senator, is someone I admire as a leader because of her numerous achievements,
which show how responsible she is. And because of her, I am motivated to stand out
for what is right because she has a brave attitude that I admire and that she is a
leader who is steadfastly committed to upholding the law. She continually promoted
fairness, openness, and the preservation of democratic principles in the Philippines.
She became an inspiration to many in searching for moral leadership due to her
commitment to these values.

2. Many great leaders are determined and committed to their causes. Write about
something that you feel passionately about—and then explain how you could lead
others to also care about your cause.

I would like to inspire others to care passionately about the noble goal of promoting
education by integrating schooling, personal commitment, community engagement,
advocacy, storytelling, collaboration, solutions-focused approaches, persistence, and
inclusivity. As Dr. Jose Rizal once said, "Ang kabataan ang pag asa ng bayan."
Individuals may identify and follow their own pathways to success, whatever that
may entail for them, with the help of education. We can all work together to have a
good influence on our nation by uniting to address this pressing matter and exhibit
direction.

3. How can self-confidence and self-esteem build your self-image as a future professional
and which of these two do you think is more influential in achieving your goals?

As self-doubt can be a barrier to our skills, when we are confident, we are more likely to
perform at our best. In positions of leadership, confidence is crucial. Since people like to
follow individuals who radiate confidence, it encourages and motivates others. High self-
esteem may also have a significant influence on our professional lives. It helps to foster a
good sense of self, which might affect how others see and interact with us in a
professional setting. So, I make the conclusion that developing our self-image as a future
professional requires both self-confidence and self-esteem. Self-confidence frequently
has a greater impact on the achievement of certain professional objectives because it
gives us the ability to take initiative and overcome obstacles, whereas self-esteem
contributes to emotional resilience and a good self-image.
4. Can a leader influence people to do something bad—or do leaders only use their
influence for good? Why or why not?

Leaders can influence followers to do both positive and negative actions. A leader's
influence on their followers depends on their character, ideals, and objectives; For
me, leadership is not intrinsically linked to moral excellence or ethical behavior.
And there should be processes in place to make sure that leadership is in line with
ethical ideals and social well-being. Leaders must also be held accountable for what
impact they have on their followers and society.

5. Reflecting on your current experience on your internship and on what you have observed
in the different workplace, explain why personality plays an important role in job
satisfaction and career success? Give examples to support your answer.

As in many other professions, personality is vital to career success as well as job fulfillment in
the nursing industry. This is especially true in the medical field, where the work is hard,
sometimes emotional, and necessitates a lot of human engagement. As a nursing student about
to graduate, I feel exhausted by the demanding obligations, long hours, and emotionally
stressful circumstances. But given that I have a personality that can deal with stress well, remain
composed under pressure, and handle challenging situations, I am able to assert that I'm more
likely to succeed in this line of career. I can draw out that personality has a significant impact on
career in nursing. It has a direct effect on how nurses communicate with patients, coworkers,
and the healthcare system. In this hard but rewarding career, a good personality may improve
patient care, provide an enjoyable work atmosphere, and contribute to long-term success.
