I hope you enjoy this differentiated FREEBIE from my latest product line and one of Teachers Pay Teachers top selling
color by code resources, Sight Word Extravaganza. This download includes a sample from each of my November
packets in all grade levels to give you an easy “go-to”, differentiated activity to use anytime during the month of
November… or perhaps, specifically during that CRAZY week before the Thanksgiving holidays kick off! (Ya know,
when your students are ALL but swinging from the chandelier!) Whatever the case, I promise your students will
L-O-V-E these color by code activity sheets, and they will be begging you for more! Not to mention, these no-prep
printables are standards based and guaranteed to help your students increase their reading fluency and comprehension
skills in all subjects.
Believe me, I know what it is like having a class full of students reading all over the place. I will never forget when I was
teaching 2nd grade and received the most precious ESL student who was reading on a kindergarten level. And yes…
also in that class was my precious D. J. and Jayden who were both reading on a 5th grade level… oh yeah, and did I
mention the rest of my students were somewhere in between? And, THAT is what inspired me to create these fun,
engaging packets! Sooo… . just simply select the grade level that best fits each of your students’ reading level and
print the number you need from that grade level. AND… if a student should “graduate” from one grade level
because they have mastered those sight words, you can let them “advance” to the next grade level to work on
mastering those words! The greatest thing about these monthly packets is your students won’t even realize they are
working with different sets of words because all of the images appear to be the same!
My personal belief is that if students were able to READ comprehension passages or word problems in math fluently,
the differences in their Benchmark scores and weekly tests would skyrocket if they weren’t stumbling over sight words
they should already know!
These color by code activity sheets include words from both the Dolch sight word lists for grades K-3rd and from the
Fry sight word lists for grades K– 5th. (Sets are sold individually for each grade level for each month, or you can
bundle and $AVE by purchasing the K-5th monthly bundles. Or you can save even more with my K-5th Year Long

EXTRAVAGANZA
YEAR LONG GROWING BUNDLE
Dear Teacher or Homeschooler,
Because of the increased interest in my differentiated K-5 Sight Word Extravaganza packets, I have decided to create
a YEAR LONG (Growing) bundle which will eventually include a packet for EACH MONTH of the school year! The K-5
packets have the potential to reach ALL reading levels and provide differentiation without your students even realizing
they are working at different levels. As a second grade teacher, I have had ELL/ESL and other students who were
reading on a kinder level, as well as, second grade students reading on a 5th grade level. We can probably both agree
this presents a huge challenge trying to meet each student’s individual needs. As mentioned, these bundles will cover
ALL K-5 reading levels in ONE simple download. Throughout the school year you may notice your students need to
“bump up” a grade level. With this bundle, grades K-5th are ALL included to help you meet each one of your students
where they are! PROVEN FACT: STUDENTS WHO HAVE MASTERED THEIR SIGHT WORDS HAVE INCREASED READING
FLUENCY, BETTER COMPREHENSION SKILLS, AND SIGNIFICANTLY OUTPERFORM STUDENTS WHO HAVE NOT MASTERED THEIR
SIGHT WORDS ON UNIT BENCHMARK ASSESSMENTS, AND WEEKLY COLD READS.
Please understand that a GROWING bundle is NOT a completed bundle...YET! Why you ask? That’s because I’m still
creating the monthly packets! However, there is a HUGE advantage to purchasing a growing bundle before it is
completed because it is SO MUCH CHEAPER! Once you’ve purchased it… IT’S YOURS! Therefore, each time a new
monthly Sight Word Extravaganza packet is added, it is FREE for you since you’ve already purchased the bundle! To
access the newly added packets, you simply go to “My Purchases” in your TpT account and download the revised file.
Currently, each individual grade level packet is $4.00. Once the bundle is completed, if every grade level for each
month were purchased individually at $4.00 each, the total cost would be $360.00! However, the initial cost of the
growing bundle is only $40.00 and includes four K-5 monthly packets. *PLEASE NOTE…the price will slightly increase as
the bundle grows. Therefore, if you are reading this after the first four K-5 packets were added, you may notice the
price has increased from $40.00. But, remember… you will not pay an another dime once you’ve purchased the
bundle. For example, if you purchase the growing bundle at $40.00, you will receive the remaining months FREE saving
you $320.00! (Remember…if this year long resource interests you, you can redeem your TpT credits to save even
MORE or possibly even get it FREE if you have enough TpT credits accumulated!)

*These no prep printables are in a Zip File! Oftentimes, teachers who have trouble opening a zipped folder can resolve the issue simply by
Googling “Zip File Opener” and downloading a FREE opener. This may need to be done if your current zip file opener isn’t opening all of the
files in the download. After you download and install the new zip file opener, restart your computer and download the bundle again.

You will discover within each grade level a differentiated version for your students. For example, the bus pages you see
below are both from the second grade packet. The page on the left only has ONE second grade sight word from the
Dolch list for each color, and the page on the right has MULTIPLE words that are more challenging from both the Dolch
and Fry lists. Therefore, you can differentiate within each grade level or cross grade levels if applicable as seen with
the school house color by code pages! Again, students will most likely not even realize they are working with different
words based on their reading level since the images are the same, and believe me, they will BEG you to do more “fun
sheets!”
