A. Average Body Weight (ABW)

ABW in Grams (g) = Total weight of fish randomly sampled

B. Daily Feeding Rate (DFR) =

DFR = ABW x Stocking Density x Feeding Rate

EX. 20g (ABW) x 10 (Density of fish / Total count of fish) x 30% or

0.03 (Feeding rate for Juvenile fishes which is 3% - 5%) = 60g DFR
- For feeding twice a day = 60g / 2 = 30g per feeding session
- For feeding thrice a day = 60g / 3 = 20g per feeding session
