Dear doctors,

As aesthetic medicine grows, the risk of false information, exaggerated claims, and
unproven therapies proliferate. In this kind of environment, our commitment to science is
crucial. Science is the foundation of ethical and responsible aesthetic practice, ensuring
safe and effective treatments. Unfortunately, a tight bond between science and
commerce exists and forms an inseparable connection. We acknowledge that science
often gets overshadowed by the talk of brands, products, and companies.

In the midst of business-driven and biased opinions, Aesthetic Medicine Updates

Seminar (AMUSE), in collaboration with Jakarta Science Academy which compromises
more than 2500 active members, strive to be a breath of fresh air. With the main theme of
"Aesthetic Uncovered: A Purely Scientific Congress", we are allowing you to be fully
submerged in the core of evidence-based medicine in hopes of generating fruitful
scientific discussions. As we embark on this journey, let us keep in mind the profound
responsibility we bear as clinicians. Let us approach this endeavor with the utmost
dedication to proper techniques, ethical principles, patient safety, and the pursuit of
excellence.

Your contributions in the field of aesthetic medicine have been widely

recognized and we believe that your insights will greatly enrich our event. Let me

non-commercial aesthetic congress on 17th - 20th of January 2024 at Jakarta Science
