Dear Sir / Madam,

SUB: Circular on DPOS Connectivity

We thank you for your continuous support & co-operation. With reference to our earlier
circular DC 0143 dt 05-08-2008, some dealers have problem in connecting DPOS through
GDMS network with the host ip 202.100.100.5

Pls follow the below given steps, if you have any problem in connecting DPOS through GDMS
network.

First, please make sure whether you have made all the necessary settings as mentioned in our
earlier circular DC 0143 dt 05-08-2008.

A. Ping Test :
Pls do ping test for the ip address 202.100.100.5. If you get reply, you should be able to
connect DPOS. If the ip did not ping, pls contact Mr.Kalirajan (044-67101063) of Mobis IT
team.

B. PC Spec :
Operating System : Windows XP, Processor : P IV or above, Ram : 512 MB or above,
Internet explorer 5.5 or above, Internet connection : High speed Broadband internet
( Not Kindly ensure all the PC’s in your Parts Department adhere to the above configuration.
Pls ensure whether you are using original Operating System, DPOS will not work in pirated
OS.

C. POP up Blocker :
Make sure POP up blockers are turned off. You can check this in Tools Bar of Internet
Explorer. You will get the POP up login screen only when the POP up blockers are turned off.
Also install Active X controls if its not available in your PC.

Dealers who has any problem can contact the Regional Help desk available in each region as per
our earlier circular DC 0136 dt 26-07-2008.
