Written Task

Write an essay about the following questions:

1. What makes art different from other subjects like Math, Science,
History, and TLE?
 Art is really a unique among other subjects, the reason that art is
different from subjects like Math, Science, History, and TLE (Technology
and Livelihood Education) because it primarily focuses on self-
expression, creativity, and aesthetics. While subjects like Math and
Science deal with facts and formulas, History examines past events, and
TLE covers practical skills, art allows individuals to convey emotions,
ideas, and perspectives through various mediums such as painting,
sculpture, music, and more. Art doesn’t necessarily have a single correct
answer or a fixed set of rules, making it distinctively subjective and open
to interpretation. It encourages personal expression and fosters
creativity, which sets it apart from other subjects.

2. Do you consider your experience in art class in elementary

significant?
 Yes, I do consider my experience in art class way back on my
elementary year most significant. Overall, art in elementary education
goes beyond creating pretty pictures, it helps me to fosters holistic
development, creativity, and a deeper understanding of the world,
making it a significant component of a well-rounded education.

3. How important is giving encouragement and appreciation to the

student’s artwork?
 Encouragement and appreciation for students’ artwork are exceptionally
important in their artistic and personal development. By providing
encouragement and appreciation for students’ artwork not only supports
their artistic development but also contributes to their overall well-being
and growth as individuals. It creates a positive cycle where students are
more motivated, creative, and confident in their artistic endeavors.

4. Were you able to get words of encouragement and appreciation from

your classmates or teachers? Cite a situation.
 Absolutely, most of my classmates and teachers have told words of
encouragement and motivations to foster and efficiently utilize my skills
in arts. Way back then, it was science month and my teacher ask us to
participate on science exhibit. That hooked up my interest then I brought
up an idea of producing helium using local materials. After trying and
trying on how our project more convincing and successful to the
audience, one teacher told us that, “youre work is brilliant, but too danger
if you’re not careful with mixing the properties of chemicals. So far your
idea is far from the other and I love the art very innovative, keep going
and be exceeding glad because I think your work is at hand. You’ll be on
the first place”
