OBJECTIVES

Concept: Growth and Development

Area of Exposure: Virtual Room (Google Meet)
Date of Exposure: December 5-10, 2022
Clinical Instructor:

General Objective:
After 2 days of Skills Laboratory, I will be able to develop my cognitive, psychomotor and
effective domains in relation towards the concept of Growth and Development, also, identify
and demonstrate the necessary laboratory practice and acquire the understanding therein the
Multiple factors that are affecting the development.

Specific Objectives: Within 8 hours, I will be able to:

Cognitive:
1. Classify the various concerns, definitions, general considerations that are required for
understanding the Growth and Development.
2. Compare and contrast the growth, development and maturation of each stages.
3. Appraise the level of perception towards the conceptions regarding the aims and goals
of the concepts each of the Growth and Development.
4. Analyze the different development stages such as the infant, toddler, preschool, school
age, adolescent, adult, and elderly progress thoroughly.
5. Enumerate the multiple complex factors that are involved in caring for each Growth and
Development.

Psychomotor:
1. Show a highlight of capabilities of skills towards assessing the concept and the process
of care towards the prepared situation environment with exposure to a client.
2. Administer in a constructive manner, how these procedures handle and applied as well
as administered properly in medical environment as an application based work.
3. Measure knowledge retention for understanding the different types of development
and growth stages.
4. Coordinate with other nursing students with regarding to the different activities and
assignments that are involved in the concepts.
5. Perform skillfully in formulating nursing interventions to provide unique quality care
towards the specific developmental stages.

Affective:
1. Attend the discussion during the face-to-face or virtual meeting to amplify my
knowledge.
2. Communicate effectively and with respect to the clinical instructors during the breakout
session.
3. Select the appropriate reaction, management, and even provision for oneself, the
choice of receptivity to various appropriate sentiments and practices.
4. Display a good grasp of other person’s information, points of view, and ideas that differ
from one’s own, acknowledge and enable each underlying perspective to be analyzed.
5. Discuss the particular information gained and future goals in the discussions, as well as
the lessons that were not fully understood.
