DESCENT
INITIAL APPROACH
PROFIL = Throttle = as req. | 240 KIAS / M 0.64 - Speed → 170 KIAS
- Flaps → 15° (when below 180 KIAS)
FMA = „LNV1 | VPATH“ green + „ALTV“ white
- verify Altimeter = LOCAL
TOP OF DESCENT - enter Downwind Leg at 1.500 ft AGL
- verify FAF Plattform Altitude is preselected
DOWNWIND LEG
- verify Descent is initiated automatically with AP ON and VNAV
- 130 KIAS with Flaps 15° at 1.500 AGL
- verify FMA = „LNAV | VPATH“ green + „ALTV“ white
- Landing Gear → DOWN (mid Leg)
- reduce Throttle to maintain desired Speed (240 KIAS)
- abeam → 30 seconds → start Base Turn
- use Speedbrake if necessary
Fuel Transfer Selector (MP Left) verify OFF BASE TURN
Anti-Ice AS REQ - start descending with ~ 500 FPM
Passenger Signs (Belt & Safety) AS DES - Flaps → 35°
TRANSITION FLIGHT LEVEL - Speed → stabilize at VAPP
Altimeter SET LOCAL - aim for turn on FINAL at ~ 400 - 500 ft AGL
10.000 ft / FL100
Landing Lights ON
FINAL & LANDING
- roll out at ~ 400 - 500 ft AGL and ~ 1.5 NM from Threshold
ILS APPROACH & LANDING - perform short Landing Check
Flaps SET 35°
Gear DOWN 3 GREEN
- 300 ft AGL → Speed slowly to VREF
- Treshhold / 50 ft AGL → Throttles to IDLE
- slowly flare
- Speedbrakes → DEPLOYED after Touchdown
INITIAL APPROACH (latest 20 NM out) - use Brakes to descelerate
- Speed → 170 KIAS
- Flaps → 15° (when below 180 KIAS) GO-AROUND
ILS Frequency verify or set FMS TUN NAV 1
INITIATE GO AROUND
Altimeter verify LOCAL
- Push TO/GA (Button under L FIRE ENG workaround).
Landing Lights verify ON
- follow FD Bars
LOC & GS INTERCEPT - Flaps → 15°
- maintain 150 - 170 KIAS with Flaps 15° - Gear → UP at positive Rate of Climb
- select NAV Source LOC1 (if not automatically changed) - maintain min. 110
- select Autopilot APPR Mode - Flaps → UP at ~ 120 KIAS (before 200 KIAS)
- verify FMA = „LOC1 | GS“ white (armed) - engage AP at ~ 400 ft AGL
- on LOC Capture → verify FMA = „LOC1“ green
ACCELERATION
ON GLIDE SLOPE - at 1.000 ft → lower the Pitch
- on GS Capture → verify FMA = „GS“ green - Throttles → CLB (or lower)
- keep Sinkrate ~ 5 x Ground Speed for 3° GS if AP OFF - accelerate → 240 KIAS
- Gear → DOWN
- Flaps → 35° AFTER LANDING
- Speed → stabilize at VAPP
- set Missed Approach Altitude AFTER LEAVING THE RUNWAY
- perform short Landing Check Spoilers RETRACT
Flaps SET 35° Flaps RETRACT
Gear DOWN 3 GREEN Taxi Lights ON
Be stable at LOC and GS with VAPP (max.+10 Kts) Strobe Lights OFF
latest at 1.000 ft AGL (IMC) or 500 ft AGL (VMC)!! Pitot/Static Heat 1 & 2 OFF
Ice-Protection AS REQ / OFF
LANDING TCAS STBY
- 300 ft AGL → Speed slowly to VREF TERR/WX/TFC (ND) OFF
- Autopilot → DISENGAGE
- Treshhold / 50 ft AGL → Throttles to IDLE PARKING / SHUTDOWN
- slowly flare
- Speedbrakes → DEPLOYED after Touchdown Parking Brake SET
- use Brakes to descelerate Throttles IDLE
Engine RUN/STOP L & R STOP
VISUAL PATTERN LANDING Emergency Lights Switch OFF
Stby Flight Display Switch OFF
Avionics Switch OFF
Climate Control Selector OFF
Exterior Lights OFF
Battery OFF
