Order for the Public Worship of God

Pastor: Rev. Vernon Burrow 406-6385 Music Director/Pianist: Ben Spicer Oct. 16, 2011 Eighteenth Sunday after Pentecost 10:00 a.m.

Our Father, which art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come; thy will be done, on Earth, as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the Kingdom and the Power and the Glory forever. Amen. If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives. Be kind anyway. If you are successful, you will win some unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies. Succeed anyway. If you are honest and sincere people may deceive you. Be honest and sincere anyway. What you spend years creating, others could destroy overnight. Create anyway. If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous. Be happy anyway. The good you do today, will often be forgotten. Do good anyway. Give the best you have, and it will never be enough. Give your best anyway. World Wide Communion Sunday

A Family After Gods Own Heart

Welcome to Worship
elcome to New Hope Church, a place for new beginnings! If you are visiting, you will discover a loving, spirit-filled church family. Here is some helpful information as you join us in worship today: All who worship here are equals in the sight of God, regardless of race, age, gender, physical disability or religious affiliation. Communion, when celebrated, is open to all who profess Christ as Lord and Savior, whether affiliated with this church or not. Children may partake of Communion as well, if parents approve. A nursery is available during the service; please see a greeter for directions. (This is for infants and children up to 3 years of age.) Handicap-accessible restrooms are located off the narthex (foyer) and adjacent to the entrance lobby in the Fellowship Hall/Gym. Please remember to sign the attendance folder at your pew so we will have a record of your visit with us today. Thank you for remembering to silence your cell phone during the service. No food or beverages in the sanctuary, please. If you arrived as a visitor we hope that you leave as a friend and worship with us often! New Hope Church exists to: Glorify God in worship and rejoice in our life together; Share the Good News of the Gospel in word and deed; Reach as many as we can with the saving love of Jesus; Help each person grow toward Christian maturity.

anyone who is interested to take part. Please see the Pastor if you would like to help. New Hope Choir Led by Ben, the New Hope choir is more than just a choir. It is a small group that meets on Sunday evenings to, yes, practice some songs, but also to fellowship, express concerns, reflect on a devotional together and pray for one another. We are blessed by hearing the choir, and those in the choir are blessed to be in it together. Join the choir and find out why! They meet every Sunday evening at 6:00. Dont forget about our Food Pantry here at New Hope. We now need to restock. Bring what you can donate next Sunday and lets keep this important ministry available. Thanks to those of you who have begun helping us re-stock by bringing items. Stephen Ministry Got a burden? New Hope people dont have to carry that burden alone. You can have a STEPHEN MINISTER who will spend time with you, listen to you, and walk beside you. If you are interested in providing or receiving care through the Stephen Ministry program at New Hope, please contact the pastor through the Church office at (615) 4497020 and request that a Stephen minister contact you. All men in the church are invited to the Community Mens Breakfast and Bible Study, which meets here at the church every Tuesday morning from 6:00 7:00. This small group has great meaning to the men who attend and is also a way of helping some man who may not go to a church on Sundays to feel more comfortable in this relaxed, informal setting.
