My name is Ben Schoeberl, and I am writing to be considered as a teacher candidate in your

school district. I am a fourth-year student at Dakota State University majoring in Elementary
Education. I also have an ENL minor, Technology minor, and Reading minor as well as a
coaching endorsement. I am excited to start teaching and getting the opportunity to be a full-
time teacher while completing my student teaching.

My skills, teaching beliefs, and experience have prepared me to become an excellent teacher
for your school district. I excel in elementary education content knowledge and philosophies
that are proven to be effective with elementary students. I also am always looking to try new
things as well. I have strengths in leadership, organization, and enthusiasm, and I am passionate
about helping students grow positively. My coursework at DSU has given me the confidence to
equip students with an attitude of lifelong learning as I provide them with a solid understanding
of core concepts in education complemented by relevant technology and literacy skills. I am
also interested in being involved in extracurricular roles to help further students' positive and
everlasting growth.
