Dear colleagues,
We would like to inform you about the following:

1. Product Description
The BacT/ALERT® VIRTUO™ User Manual has been translated into languages used by customers in their respective
countries. This bulletin is to inform you about a discrepancy found in the User Manual language translations for Spain,
Germany, and Sweden.

2. Context
Upon inspection of the VIRTUO™ User Manual language translations, it was discovered that although the text contained
within the manual was translated into the local language, graphics used in the manual were shown with text in English
rather than the local language.

The actual icons or information found on the VIRTUO instrument are translated into the local language. It is only the
graphics used in the User Manual to illustrate these screens that are shown with English text rather than the
appropriate translation.

See the examples below of graphics contained in the manual. The English text has been highlighted in the examples.

These discrepancies will be corrected in the next revision of the VIRTUO™ User Manual.

Please document any customer complaints regarding this issue in SAP using “C94” as the Category Profile Code and
“B32 Documentation Error” as the Error Cause Code.
