1. What is the use of Windows Movie Maker Software?
Answer – Windows Movie Maker is a Non linear video editing software software. Window Movie
Maker is included with Windows XP. It is also available for download through Microsoft’s Windows
website. Movie Maker enables users to create movies by combining images, video clips, and sounds.
To make a movie look more professional, titles, transitions, and effects can be added. Movies made
with Windows Movie Maker can also be viewed on computers and video players. These videos can also
be shared on the internet.

2. What is the difference between clip and Videos?


Answer – A clip is created by slicing a video into smaller segments. A video file is substantially greater
in size than a clip. A video’s time duration is also greater than that of a clip. We can merge several clips
to make a single video file. We can quickly build a video by mixing clips in Windows Movie Maker, and
we can also divide a video into smaller parts.

3. List the features of Window Movie maker.


Answer – The features of Window Movie Maker are as follows.
a. Simple to Use: It supports a variety of file formats, including.WMY/.WMA/.WAV/.AVI/.MP3 and
others.
b. Background Music: You can use this software to add background music to your videos.
b. Crop a Video: Using Windows Movie Maker, you may easily crop a video.
d. Include Subtitles: Videos can be made more clear and appealing by including subtitles.
e. Audio extraction from video.

4. Differentiate between title and credits.


Answer – Titles and captions are used to offer text-based information to the movie. Titles are inserted
at the beginning of the film, and credits are added at the end.

5. What is a storyboard?
Answer – The storyboard depicts the transitions and visual effects used in the video production
process. It is used to explore between video, divide them as needed, and arrange clips in order.

6. Write the steps to export a movie.


Answer – Take the following steps:
a. On the timeline, select the export option.
b. A dialog box with export options displays.
b. Come up with a title for a movie.
d. Select the Save option.
e. In the folder box, select a folder or type a name.
f. Select the folder by clicking on it.
g. Select Settings to add more information.
h. Select the export option.

7. How will you save a movie?


Answer – Take the following steps:
a. Select the file tab.
b. Click the Save Project button.
c. A dialog window for saving project appears.
d. Press the save button.
