Project Goal:
The goal of the “Ocean Eye promoted through Abyss Ocean World" project is to me culously conceive,
construct, and execute a well-structured, recurrent marke ng strategy that seamlessly integrates the
Ocean Eye pla orm into the guest experience at Abyss Ocean World.

Scope Descrip on:


The scope of this project involves the crea on of engaging email templates for guests before their
diving or snorkeling experiences, the development of compelling visual materials for the dive shop, the
establishment of a follow-up email process, and the implementa on of a structured data collec on
and integra on schedule into the global Ocean Eye pla orm to enhance the overall promo onal and
interac ve experience.

i. Synthesize Ocean Eye as a pla orm into three or less sentences to provide a clear and concise
explana on of what the pla orm is and why Abyss Ocean World is suppor ng it in Pemuteran, Bali,
Indonesia. Target date: September 15.

ii. Establish a speech for Abyss Ocean World team members to relay to the group of customers that
walk in and book or pay in person rather than online. Target Date: October 15

ii. Train all Abyss Ocean World team members to input data on endangered species observed during
snorkeling or diving ac vi es each day into the Ocean Eye pla orm, with the goal of crea ng a
comprehensive species database for future comparisons. Target Date: November 15

iv. Compile a comprehensive project report summarizing the outcomes, including the successful
integra on of Ocean Eye, the customer communica on strategy, and the establishment of the species
database, providing insights for future ini a ves and expansion Target Date: November 30.

Deliverables:
i. Engaging Email Templates: Create a set of simple but thorough email templates for guests to receive
before their diving or snorkeling experiences.

ii. Visual Materials for Dive Shop: Develop mo va ng visual materials to enhance the ambiance and
inform customers visi ng the dive shop

iii. Follow-up Email Process: Establish a structured follow-up email process to engage and provide
informa on to customers a er their experience with Abyss Ocean World.

iv. Data Collec on Schedule: Implement a data collec on schedule for team members to input
informa on on endangered species observed during snorkeling or diving ac vi es each day into the
Ocean Eye pla orm.

v. Data Integra on with Ocean Eye: Integrate the collected data into the Ocean Eye pla orm to
contribute to the crea on of a comprehensive species database.

vi Ocean Eye Pla orm Synthesis: Summarize Ocean Eye as a pla orm in three or fewer sentences,
explaining its purpose and why Abyss Ocean World supports it in Pemuteran, Bali, Indonesia.

Vii Customer Communica on Speech: Establish a speech for Abyss Ocean World team members to
convey to customers who book or pay in person rather than online, ensuring a consistent and
informa ve message.

viii. Project Report: Compile a comprehensive project report summarizing the outcomes of the en re
project, including the successful integra on of Ocean Eye, the customer communica on strategy, and
the establishment of the species database, providing insights for future ini a ves and expansion.

Challenges / Constraints:
i. Resource Limita ons: As the project is headed by an intern, there is limited availability of human
me which impacts the ability to execute all aspects of the project, and poten ally requires
priori za on of certain deliverables.

ii. Technological integra on: The successful integra on of data into the Ocean Eye pla orm might have
technical challenges like availability of technology and service while on the vessel.

iii.Data Accuracy: Ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data collected from team members regarding
endangered species may be challenging, especially when relying on manual inputs and in the team
members second language being English.

iv. Sta Training: Training all Abyss Ocean World team members to input data on a daily basis may
require substan al me and e ort, poten ally impac ng daily opera ons.

v. Customer Engagement: Cra ing a consistent and engaging customer communica on speech for in-
person interac ons can be challenging, as it involves human interac on and could need adjustments
based on comfortability of sta members.

Acceptance criteria:
Daniel is the supervisor and is the nal approver of the Ocean Eye integra on project.

i. The explana on of the Ocean Eye pla orm should be clear and concise, allowing everyone to
understand its purpose and why Abyss Ocean World supports it in Pemuteran, Bali, Indonesia.

ii. The speech for Abyss Ocean World team members should be easily customizable for individual sta
and e ec vely convey a consistent and informa ve message to customers who book or pay in person,
ensuring a posi ve and informa ve experience.

ii. All Abyss Ocean World team members must be trained to input data on endangered species
observed during snorkeling or diving ac vi es into the Ocean Eye pla orm. Training should be
comprehensive and result in competency among all sta .

iv. The data collected by team members on endangered species must be successfully integrated into
the Ocean Eye pla orm as per the de ned schedule, ensuring the crea on of a comprehensive species
database. The integra on process should be technically sound and reliable.

v. The comprehensive project report should be made, summarizing the outcomes of the project,
including the successful integra on of Ocean Eye, the sta to customer communica on strategy, and
the establishment of the species database. The report should provide a pathway for future dive shops
that want to integrate Ocean Eye into their opera ons.
Assump ons:
i. Technical challenges related to the integra on of data into the Ocean Eye pla orm, par cularly those
related to technology and service availability while on the vessel, will be addressed through sta input
of what works for each person.

ii. the e ort required to train all Abyss Ocean World team members to input data on a daily basis will
be managed e ec vely, minimizing disrup on to daily opera ons as much as possible and ensuring
e cient use of everyones me.
