INTRODUCTION
Car air conditioning is a system within in the car that allows to cool the interior air of the vehicle
in hot weather, providing for a cooler environment for the occupants.

AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM COMPONENTS

1.0 COMPRESSOR

-The compressor is for compressing the gas so that the pressure and temperature of the gas
become very high and when the temperature and pressure are high, the gas can turn into a liquid
in the condenser.
 2.0 CONDENSER
-The AC condenser serves as a heat exchanger, when a heated gas or vapor is cooled to the point
of condensation by a condenser, it condenses into a liquid.
- The condenser functions to lower the refrigerant’s temperature when condensation is taking
place. A cool liquid will be produced after the warm temperature is successfully cooled and will
be released through the vehicle’s air conditioner holes.

3.0 EVAPORATOR
-The functions of an evaporator are to absorb heat from the surrounding in the car to be cold
-Evaporator coil remove head and humidity from the air being circulated in passenger
compartment
 4.0 EXPANSION VALVE
-To increase the pressure of the refrigerant
-To meter the proper amount of refrigerant to evaporator
-To increase the temperature of the refrigerant

SERVICING ON VEHICLE AIR CONDITIONING

PROBLEM 1- Air blown by blower to passenger side not strong

SOLUTION-Examine, clean or replace the filter
In-cabin filters may become clogged, which will block airflow and reduce the air-
con efficiency. A dirty filter can carry dirt into the evaporator coil and impair the coil’s heat-
absorbing capacity.

PROBLEM B-Have some leaks to component. Condenser sometimes leaks and make the
refrigerant can’t get through the condenser
SOLUTION-Get an air-conditioning specialist to service the condenser

Sometimes, to maintaining an air-conditioning just doing one easy step that call flushing. Just let
the water drain in the air-conditioning system to check if have leaks in the system

Air- conditioning is important for every car in this world to make people feel comfortable during
drive for a short or long distance.
