Subject: Need immediate assistance regarding STUDENT VISA stamping from the Saudi
Embassy in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Dear Concern,
We sincerely hope that this letter finds you well. We are Bangladeshi students who have been
selected for the M.S./Ph.D program for the upcoming Fall-2023 semester at two renowned Saudi
universities named King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) and King Abdulaziz
University (KAU). Recently, we received an admission offer with a scholarship and entry visa
details. We were instructed to apply for a visa at the Saudi Embassy in Bangladesh. We have
prepared and attested the required documents with Arabic translations from our previous
institutions, education, and foreign ministries in Bangladesh as per guided by Saudi Arabia Visa
Center (https://vc.tasheer.com/static/visainformation). Following that, we submitted them at the
Visa Service Center, Tasheer, Jamuna Future Park, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

For your kind information, we are facing difficulties regarding getting our visa stamped on time.
Recently, most of the students' documents were returned without visa stamped due to the absence
of the Saudi Cultural Mission attestation. There is no Cultural Mission situated in Bangladesh, and
it is impossible to attest it from India/Pakistan within a short time. The process of obtaining a visa
after submitting the necessary paperwork takes 21 working days. Additionally, few of us are
government employees and need to complete a few extra steps to go for higher study such as higher
study leave approval from the university, government order, etc. and these activities take a sizable
amount of time. As the class will start on August 2023, we need our visa stamped as soon as
possible to make the necessary preparations. Moreover, a few students already got their visas
stamped by the Embassy without the Cultural Mission's attestation. It is common knowledge that
all pupils are judged according to the same standards. We are optimistic that the remaining students
will also be issued visas for this August 2023 semester. Our goal is to complete our graduate studies
in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The current scenario has put us under a great deal of stress.

Therefore, we humbly request you to take the necessary steps to issue Student Visa for the enlisted
students of Fall-2023 and oblige thereby.

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Please follow the link https://visa.mofa.gov.sa.
2. Choose "English" from top left corner of the page if you want the English version of the page.
3. In "Inquiry type", select “VISA DOCUMENT NUMBER”, in the VISA Number enter the Visa Number:
7008361375, RECORD Number: 7000873559 and PROCEED.
4. A visa document page will appear and a print out of this page will serve as the OFFICIAL VISA PAGE.
5. Since the visa endorsement takes long time almost 3 months, you are advised to immediately contact the
Saudi Embassy/Consulate/Mission in DHAKA mentioned on your visa page to get the visa stamping on
your passport, along with a printout of this email, official visa page and attached documents.
6. Also, check with them for any other requisite document(s) and requirement(s) for visa endorsement.

AIR-TICKET
1. With regard to air-ticket, please arrange it yourself.
2. Upon arrival, submit the original receipt(s) of the travel to the Deanship of Student Affairs to get the
reimbursement, according to the University policy.

3. You will get reimbursement for an Economy Class Travel covering the shortest possible distance from your
home city to Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
4. Please do note that if you are required to stay in a third country for quarantine, KFUPM will not reimburse
the stay costs or any additional travel costs.

REPORTING TO KFUPM
1. The Fall Semester 2023-24 will start on 27 August 2023 and you should get the visa stamped and manage
your reporting here two weeks before to start the semester, preferably, between 13 August to 24 August
2023.
2. Please be sure that you reach here on or before 25 August 2023 positively to get the registration of
courses.

DOCUMENTS TO BE PRODUCED WHEN REPORTING

1. Original PASSPORT with stamped visa
2. Original BACHELORS TRANSCRIPT
3. Original MASTERS TRANSCRIPT (Only for PhD Students)
4. Original + Copy BACHELOR DEGREE CERTIFICATE
5. Original + Copy MASTER DEGREE CERTIFICATE (Only for PhD Students)
6. Filled and signed INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY FORM IP Form [Form Link]
7. Original Score Sheet of TOEFL OR IELTS ACADEMIC. If you do not provide required TOEFL or IELTS
Academic while reporting, you will be asked to provide the same within the first semester of studies.
