GLT-505
Introduction Product Description
Viton GLT-505* is a new generation, peroxide
Chemical Composition Terpolymer of perfluoro-
curable fluoroelastomer. It combines the excellent methyl vinyl ether, vinyl-
fluids resistance and low temperature flexibility found idene fluoride and tetra-
in Viton GLT with the improved flow of a lower fluoroethylene, plus cure
viscosity polymer. Viton GLT-505 is designed for site monomer and process
compression and transfer molding of sealing devices aid
such as O-rings and gaskets. Physical Form Slab

Compared to Viton GLT, Viton GLT-505 features: Color* Off-white to brown

• Improved processibility Odor None
– incorporated process aid Specific Gravity 1.78
– lower viscosity, improved mold flow Solubility Low molecular weight
esters and ketones
– better mold release
Storage Stability Excellent
• Equivalent fluids resistance and low temperature
flexibility Mooney Viscosity 50
(ML 1+10 at
121°C [250°F])
Applications *This polymer contains light-sensitive materials. Some
