From my opinion, there are tons of difference between CAD and manual drafting.

With CAD, we creat

and handle pictures on a computer to assist engineers in design and drafting, but by manual drafting, we
have to create drawings by hand with pencils or inkl on paper. Therefore, CAD can create quickly layout
of preliminary design and necessary change. Unlike CAD, designer design single detailed drafting by
hand with pencil of ink on a media such as paper or polyester film using drafting equipment. Using CAD,
designers need to have analytical skills and a little operation skills. However, designers using manual
drafting are required both designing skills and explanation skills. CAD is different from manual in term of
accuracy. While CAD provides high accuracyin representation and hess error in explanation, drawing
made by manual drafting is easy mireading because of ambiguity and drawing errors. By contrast, CAD is
easy to use and very flexible, so the designers can make change of modifications easily, drawing by
manual drafting spends a lot of time becase drafter has to start from the beginning to make changes.
