Writing Assignment 3: Cover Letter (10%)

Instructions:

• Based on Unit 3, create a cover letter as your job application document. The content

should be relevant to your chosen job position of writing assignments 1 and 2.

• Your cover letter must include all elements taught in class with the use of formal

business language.

• Please set 1.5 for a line spacing to make it easy for your lecturer to grade your work.

• Submit your work with a copy of Cover Letter Rubric on the next page

I have recently graduated with a 3.51 GPAX in Chinese language and culture from Mae
Fah Luang University and hope to put this to use in the field of translation and
management. I am writing in response to use in your currently advertisement for an
assistant General Manager on the website of sinothai.

As a Chinese-majored with a passion for using Chinese to communicate with foreigners, I


am committed to working in translation and management following graduation. I have a
lively interest in company’s products, especially digital chinese vocabulary card PDF/PNG
and would appreciate the opportunity to broaden my knowledge by working with sinothai
education technology co., Ltd.

During my time at university, I joined the Lamduan game as staff for make scene.I became
highly competent in Multi-tasking skills. Working for the Lamduan game helped me learn
the importancs of teamwork skills and management skills from other staff making scenes.
As a result, my knowledge and experience in the field has grown considerably, capable of
adapting to change independently.
