Changing color seamlessly:
Materials
To change colors, wait until you reach the point
• Yarn size Sport/DK. I use Scheepjes Catona in where you want the new color to begin, and leave
212 Sage Green, 110 Jet Black, 507 Choco- 2 loops on your hook. Then, wrap the new color

Start with BL.


R 1: Mc, 6 sc in the ring (6 sts)
R 2: inc 6x (12 sts)

When you crochet a BO, the bobble portrudes out (fig 1.1). Aesthetically, I prefer my Bobbles
inverted in. To achieve this look, use the back of your hook to push them in (fig 1.2).

Stuff your cup firmly, only up to R 35 as you want the
surface to be concave.

Add more stuffing if needed.

Fasten off with a long tail and close the remaining sts (sew in the FLO only). For better structure, we
should keep the bottom/surface of the cup flat. Thread the tail and Poke the needle through the bottom
and bring it back up (fig 2.1 - 2.3). Fasten off at the top and hide yarn end.

With a long tail, ch 45. Start in the second ch from
the hook.

Leaf Yarn: Medium Green (MG) and Light Green (LG)

Start with (MG) color. 4


R 1: mc, sc 4 in the ring, tighten it.(4 sts)

R 4 - 7: sc 12 (4 rounds) (12 sts)

Don’t stuff. Fasten off yarn and leave a long tail for sewing.
Embroider leaf details with LG color yarn.

Rolled Waffers (make 2) Yarn: Dark Brown (DB) and Light brown (LB)

We will work in rows. Start with (LB). 5.2


ch 37. Start in the second ch from the hook.
R 1: inc 36x (72 sts)

With (DB), make another spiral.
Prepare your pipe cleaner, fold the sharp ends.
Roll the first spiral onto the pipe cleaner ( fig 5.2).
Roll the second spiral starting at the top (fig 5.3 - 5.4). © CraftyGibbon

Cut the pipe cleaner to the length of your waffer.

Cheeks Yarn: Pink
R 1: Make Mc, 6 sc in the ring (6 sts)
ss to the first sc. Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Assembly & Final touch

Embroider eyes on R 26 and 27 (fig. 6).
Mouth is centered between the eyes on the round below.
6 sts apart
Don’t forget to attach the cheeks between R 23 & R 25.

Sew on top of the cream
