    AIM : To prepare time Line Chart/ Gantt Chart/ PERT Chart for selected software project.

    THEORY :

    A Gantt chart is a visual representation of a project schedule in software engineering, providing a


    timeline view of various tasks, their durations, and dependencies. It is a widely used project
    management tool that offers a clear, intuitive overview of project progress and helps teams coordinate
    and track their activities effectively.

    Gantt Chart

    ● Requirement gathering will take 10 days.


    ● Analysis will take 8 days.
    ● Designing of the system will take 30 days as it is a critical stage.
    ● Coding will take 52 days and needs to be done carefully.
    ● Testing of the system being developed is important to deliver a quality software and will take
    10 days at least.
    ● Deployment will take 10 days.
    ● Documentation will be done throughout the the development of the software and hence takes
    80 days.
    ● The total time required to develop the Restaurant Management System is 90 days.
