    To the Members of the Selection Committee,

    It is my pleasure to recommend to you Ernesto Aguirre. Ernesto is currently the TA for my


    Financial Algebra course, a class he was in last year. I have known Ernesto for two and a half
    years, and find him to be respectful and kind. He has been a member of the Knights Varsity
    Basketball team for the past two years.

    We speak often about his pursuits after high school, and he took an interest in becoming a
    firefighter. He took an Introductory EMT class this past summer at Solano College. He took an
    interest in firefighting after our Career Fair last year, and has followed through with researching
    this option and taking the first step necessary.

    I am looking forward to seeing what goals Ernesto will pursue after high school. He is very
    bright and determined, and I know he has the ability to accomplish anything he sets his mind to.
