Homemade Chocolate
Chip Cookies
Ingredients:

• 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened


• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1 cup packed brown sugar
• 2 large eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 3 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions:

• First, preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Get your baking sheets ready by lining them with parchment paper.

• Next, in a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Use an electric mixer for about 2-3 minutes until
the mixture is light and fluffy.

• Then, add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Don't forget to scrape down the sides of the bowl to ensure everything is well
mixed.

• Next, stir in the vanilla extract. This will add a delightful flavor to your cookie dough.

• Then, in a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. This ensures even distribution of leavening agents.

• Next, gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined. Be careful not to overmix; you want a soft, cookie-like
texture.

• Then, fold in the chocolate chips using a spatula. Make sure they are evenly distributed throughout the dough.

• Next, drop rounded tablespoons of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheets. Leave enough space between each cookie to allow for spreading.

• Then, bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
• Lastly, remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool
