CHAPTER I. BACKGROUND

A. Introduction
Fidelisan is one of the 18 barangays that comprise the municipality of Sagada. It has a land area
of ____hectares comprising ____% of the land area of the municipality. It is approximately ___
kilometers from Poblacion, Sagada.
It is basically a farming community with small scale mining and tourism as secondary
occupation. It is where the famous Bomod-ok Fallis is located.
The barangay has a total population of 473 with 102 households. It is inhabited by Kankanaey
speaking Fidelisan Sub-Tribe.

CHAPTER II. GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
A. Goal
The goal of the contingency plan is to provide effective, efficient, timely and well-coordinated
response mechanisms in the event of the occurrence of a typhoon in Fidelisan Elementary
School. Such mechanisms shall help to protect lives, properties and the environment, and
restore the immediate needs of the affected communities.
