I. LESSON OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, the students must be able to:
1. identify the Language Policies in the Philippines under the 1987 Philippine
constitution, BEP, and Executive Order No. 335 and 210 through a
graphic organizer with 70% accuracy.

II. CONTENT
Subject Matter: Language Policies in the Philippines
Reference: ENG 156: Language Programs in the Policies in Multilingual
Societies, Module 15, pages 1-5
Instructional Material: Laptop, PowerPoint, Television, Bondpaper

III. PROCEDURE
A. Classroom Routine
● Greetings

● Prayer

● Arranging of chairs

● Checking of attendance

● Setting of rules

B. Learning Stages
1. Activity
● The class will play the game: 4 Pics, 1 Word, 1 Statement.
● The students will be divided into two groups.
● The facilitators will present 5 sets of 4 pictures. The first group to raise
their right knuckle and yell “Darna!” will be given a chance to identify the
word or phrase. If the student identifies it correctly, they will share 1
statement of what they know about it. The group who will attain the
highest points will receive a prize.

2. Analysis
● The facilitators will elaborate the answers from the activity.
● The facilitators will then ask about the students’ prior knowledge about the
lesson.

3. Abstraction
● The facilitators will proceed to the discussion proper.
● The facilitators will present the topic by presenting their PPT on television.

4. Application
● The teacher will divide the class into four groups. Each group will be given
a bondpaper and will create a graphic organizer containing the summary
of Language Policies in the Philippines under the 1987 Philippine
constitution, BEP, and Executive Order No. 335 and 210.

IV. ASSESSMENT
● The teacher will give a 10-item quiz to assess their learning.
