Activity: AWARENESS CAMPAIGN ON CBRP AND DELISTING

As part of President Duterte’s overall response to the ongoing Drug Abuse Prevention Program, the Municipality of
Carmen conducted an orientation campaign on Community-Based Drug Rehabilitation Program to update the status of
PWUDs in the community. This initiative is guided by the Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous
Drugs Act of 2002 which mandates that it is the State’s Policy to provide effective mechanisms or measures to
reintegrate into society, the individuals who have fallen victims to drug abuse or dependence through sustainable
programs of treatment and rehabilitation.

The Local Government Unit of Carmen conducted an orientation to Persons


Who Used Drugs (PWUDs) in partnership with MLGU/BLGU, DOH, DSWD,
PNP, AFP, DepEd, Religious Groups & Pos. This orientation aims to conduct

to CBDRP Enrollment, MLGOO Mr. Julieto Curayag discussed about the commitment on CBDRP. And even
the Brgy. Captains in every cluster are encouraging the PWUDs to enroll in this Program which is the CBDRP
because this is the only way for them, not just to be delisted but to transform as a person and could not
experience a discrimination in the community.
