Abstract
Due to their low cost, lightweight, and superior mechanical, thermal, optical, and electrical
qualities, nanocomposites have distinct benefits over conventional composites. A significant
portion of current research on nanocomposites involves graphene. For their multifaceted
applications, elastomers and rubbers are now widely used in PCNs and other cutting-edge fields.
The potential for properties will drastically change with the incorporation of nanoparticles like
graphene.
Graphite and graphene are used as fillers and solvent blending is used to create EPDM
matrices without the need for any compatibilizing agents. Studies on morphology have
demonstrated the blend's great compatibility. EPDM/Graphene nanocomposites underwent
mechanical investigation to examine their shape and mechanical characteristics. The samples with
additional graphene exhibit a consistent improvement in characteristics increasing concentration.
