this year, we are taking it to unprecedented heights. From thrilling ACE
rounds to unforgettable social gatherings set against the backdrop of
Generations School's picturesque campus.

ACE'23 is not just an event; it is a testament to your dedication, hard work,
and a commitment to excellence. It is a platform where you can showcase
your talents, exchange ideas, and forge lasting connections. Here’s my advice
to you. Don’t be shy while you’re here. Network with experts and potential
investors. Find mentors who might help you navigate through a tough patch.
Connect with fellow innovators. Because ultimately, the world needs your
creativity, your energy and your vision. I have every confidence that the
delegates of ACE’23 will transcend boundaries set by the ones at ACE’22. I
wish you the best of luck with your ACE’23 journey, we hope to provide you
with the experience of a lifetime.
I believe in you, and Pakistan believes in you. I warmly invite you to be a part
of this remarkable occasion.

MODULE GUIDELINES
Judging Criteria:

BRAND BUZZ ROUND 1
• In this round delegates, will be assigned a brand which they’re required to rebrand
• For the brand allotted, delegates are required to think out of the box and come up
with innovative ideas on how to re-brand it and its products, i.e., they may launch a
new product, but it should relate to the market of the business.
• For the proceedings of the round, delegates will be given 30 minutes to set up their
stalls, panaflexes or any other material they wish to use to make their stall stand out.
• After the setting up of stalls, judges will enter the area and question every team for 5
minutes about their re-branded brands.
Judging Criteria:
• Innovation
• Aesthetics of the stall and its uniqueness
• Command on the brand
• Presentation skills
• Adherence to the time limit

MEDIA ROAR ROUND 1
• In this round, teams are required to make an advertisement and poster for the brand
that has been assigned to them in such a way that it attracts the viewers and also
encourages them to purchase the product.
• Time limit for advertisement: 60 seconds.
• Size limit for the video: 100MB.
• Minimum video quality is 480p.
• Delegates are supposed to make the videos from original content, delegates are not
allowed to copy or take an existing video.
• Delegates can choose to advertise the whole brand or focus on a specific product from
the assigned brand.
• Poster must be in hard copy as it will be displayed towards the end of the presentation.
• Poster must be presented in a printed form.
• Minimum poster size is A4.
• Any racist or vulgar advertisements will be rejected and may face disqualification from
the event.
• Each team will get 3 minutes of presenting time and 3 minutes for Q&A session.
• Video should be submitted by 11:55 pm on 12th November 2023 in a given google
drive link which will be provided later.

• Creativity and artistic value of advertisement
• Content of the advertisement
• Concept behind the advertisement
• Impact and appeal of the advertisement
• Direction of the advertisement
• Cinematography of the advertisement
• Quality of the poster
• Presentation

MEDIA ROAR ROUND 2
• This round is the perfect test of the diplomatic and strategic abilities of the teams to
deal with the media dilemmas that come their way.
• In this round, teams will be required to defend and justify a negative TV commercial of
a random brand.
• They will have to rebuttal a number of allegations such as racism, vulgar messages,
subliminal negative messages through a press conference.
• Towards the end of the press conference, teams will also have to provide a
comprehensive and out-of-the-box solution to resolve the issue.
• Teams will be given the commercial by the end of the first day.
• Teams will have 3 minutes for the press conference and 5 minutes for Q&A from
judges.

• Ability to protect and defend the reputation of the assigned brand
• Creativity and effectiveness of presented solution.
• Presentation

STOCK SHOCKS
• Before the event, teams will be issued with a country profile consisting of the
country's information and other companies present in the country.
• The stock market will be open on 3 days of the event for two hours only.
• Teams will start with a wallet amount of 2500 cubits (Avalonian Currency).
• Regular updates of changing situations in the country will be shown each day in the
form of major and/or minor headlines.
• After every Major headline, teams will have 10 minutes to discuss amongst
themselves and transact.
• After every Minor headline, teams will have 7 minutes to discuss amongst
themselves and transact.
• Transactions will take place using a website, the stock prices and headlines will be
displayed on the webpage as well as screens in the event venue area.
• Teams must enter their own team id and password to login on the website when
making transactions or else a penalty will be imposed.
• Any team which attempts to sell more shares than it owns in its portfolio will be
subject to a penalty.
• Any team attempting to buy or sell stocks not in whole numbers will be subject to a
penalty.
• Similarly, any team which attempts to buy more shares than the money they have
will be subject to a penalty.
• In case a penalty is imposed on a team, they will not be allowed to conduct any
transactions for the rest of the day.
• In case the penalty is reversed, the losses incurred during that time would not be
accommodated.
• Each team must use all fair means to conduct transactions. Any attempt to gain an
unfair advantage through an intended or unintentional use of another team’s id
and password or any applied unfair mean would result in an immediate
disqualification from the round.

• Teams must submit the transaction responses on time, and therefore are advised
to keep a close check on the defined time duration for headlines. Any transaction
requests received after the daily transaction window closes will not be catered.
• At the end of Stock Shocks (Day 4 of ACE’23), all stocks in the team’s portfolio will
not be liquidated according to the latest market price. However, the existing cash
on hand value of each team will be used to see who has won. Therefore, delegates
must ensure that they sell back any and all stocks remaining by the end of Day 4.
The team which ends with the highest cash on hand value will win Stock Shocks.

CORPORATE HAVOC ROUND 1
• In this round, teams will be given a case study regarding an event with 3 main
stakeholders involved.
• All the 3 stakeholders will be seated in different rooms.
• Teams will have to design strategies which are suitable for all of the 3 stakeholders, and
will have to convince each stakeholder separately of how their strategy serves the best
interest of the stakeholder groups.
• Teams will be given 2.5 minutes to present and 1.5 minutes for the QnA in each
stakeholder room.
