The document discusses how the events described in the Book of Revelation involving the seven seals, seven trumpets, and seven bowls overlap and recapitulate the same events from different perspectives rather than being strictly sequential. It provides examples showing how the opening of the seals, blowing of trumpets, and pouring of bowls describe parallel judgments, with later events sometimes occurring before or alongside earlier ones from another point of view.

1 repetições, são visões recapitulando os mesmos fatos sob diferentes pontos de vista e para enfatizá-los. Recaps: The 7 Seals, 7 Trumpets and 7 Bowls of Revelation Overlap, They are parallels, they are repetitions, they are visions recapitulating the same facts from different points of view and to emphasize them. Do you think that in the Bible, when it describes events that have occurred in the past or will occur in the future, what comes on one page always happens before what comes on the next page? Which pages in ascending sequence always deal with events in ascending sequence in time? Well, the vast majority of the time this may be so, but there are many important exceptions. In many important cases, what is described later occurs before or in parallel with what is described before. Example: Let’s focus on the 4 gospels. Who would make the absurdity of thinking that the events of the 4 gospels are in strict succession, without any repetition, without any superposition, so that all the events described in Mark are different from those in Matthew, and the second gospel begins exactly after the first ends? And to think that all the events in 2 Luke begin exactly after all the events in Mark? And to think that all the events in John begin exactly after all the events in Luke?!?! On the contrary, the 4 gospels are basically RECAPITULATIONS of each other: Matthew begins with the genealogy of Christ starting with Abraham, describes the wonderful earthly ministry and gospel of the incarnate God, and ends with the resurrected Christ giving the Great Commission to his 11 apostles, in Galilee; Mark goes back and begins with the ministry of John the Submerger, with the submersion of Jesus and with His temptation, RECAPITULATES (from a different point of view) the wonderful earthly ministry and gospel of the incarnate God, and ends with Christ giving the Great Commission to the his 11 disciples, closed the doors, still in Jerusalem; Luke goes back and begins with the announcement of the birth of John the Submerger, makes the same RECAPITULATION (from another point of view), and ends with the ascension of Christ in Bethany; John goes back even further, to the beginning, the "beginningless eternity", the eternity before the creation of the universe, when the eternal Word "was God and was with God", then, again, John 3 makes the same RECAPITULATION (under one more point of view) and ends with the appearance of Christ to His disciples at the Sea of Tiberias. Because of all this, one of the laws of Biblical Hermeneutics (the science of interpretation) is: “Law of Recapitulation”: Successive passages can and must sometimes be recognized as being recapitulations, repetitions of the same fact under different emphases and different points of view (For example: the 4 gospels; Pharaoh's dreams (the dream of the cows and the dream of ears); Gen 1:1 and the other accounts of creation in Gen 1:2-31 and 2:4-25; the 7 seals + 7 trumpets + 7 bowls of Revelation., etc.). If we compare very carefully the descriptions of the 7 seals, the 7 trumpets and the 7 bowls in the book of Revelation, we will realize that they are not 21 different events, one after the other, but rather, they are parallel, they are repetitions, they are visions recapitulating the same facts from different points of view and to emphasize them: Seal 1 (without corresponding Trumpet or Cup), which could be weeks or months or years before the final day of the 70th Week of Daniel, of the Great Tribulation: end of the 70th Week of Daniel, of the 4 Great Tribulation: White horse, the antichrist winning. Rev 6:1-2 “1 ¶ And when the Lamb had opened one of the seals, I looked, and heard one of the four beasts, saying as with the voice of thunder: Come, and see. 2 And I looked, and behold, a white horse; and he who sat on him had a bow; and he was given a crown, and he came out victorious, and to conquer.” Trumpet 1 (without corresponding Seal or Cup), which could be at the beginning of the final days of the 70th Week of Daniel, of the Great Tribulation: Altar fire is cast from the altar; voices, and thunders, and lightnings, and earthquakes; hail and fire mixed with blood, burned 1/3 of the land, 1/3 of the trees, and all the green grass. Rev 8:2-7 “2 And I saw the seven angels standing before God, and seven trumpets were given to them. 3 And another angel came and stood by the altar, having a golden censer; and much incense was given to him, to put with the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar, which is before the throne. 4 And the smoke of the incense went up with the prayers of 5 the saints from the hand of the angel before God. 5 And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire from the altar, and cast it upon the earth; and there were afterward voices, and thunders, and lightnings, and earthquakes. 6 And the seven angels, who had the seven trumpets, prepared to blow them. 7 ¶ And the first angel sounded his trumpet, and there was hail and fire mixed with blood, and they were cast on the earth, and the third part of it was burned; a third of the trees were burned, and all the green grass was burned.” Cup 1 (Perhaps it contributes to Cup 5: with the terrible increase in pain from the wounds, men could bite tongues of pain, and blaspheme): Evil wound on the worshipers of the antichrist, with his sign. Rev 16:1-2 1 And I heard a great voice coming from the temple, saying to the seven angels, Go and pour out the seven bowls of the wrath of God upon the earth. 2 And he was the first, and poured out his bowl upon the earth, and there was an evil and malignant wound on the men who had the mark of the beast and who worshiped his image. 6 Seal 2 (without corresponding Trumpet or Cup), which could be weeks or months before the final days of the 70th Week of Daniel, of the Great Tribulation: Red horse, war over all the earth. Rev 6:3-4 “3 ¶ And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast, saying, Come, and see. 4 And another horse came out, red; and it was given to him that sat upon it that he should take away peace from the land, and that they should kill one another; and he was given a great sword.” Trumpet 2 (= Cup 2): like a fiery mountain is thrown into the SEA, 1/3 of it turns into blood, 1/3 of its creatures and ships destroyed. Rev 8:8-9 8 And the second angel blew the trumpet; and something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea, and the third part of the sea became blood.9 And the third part of the creatures that had life in the sea died; and a third of the ships were lost. ["Creatures" refers to marine animals and plants. As for the men at sea, 100% of 7 them die in the 2nd bowl, Rev 16:3] Cup 2 (= Trumpet 2): sea turns to blood, all life in it dies. Rev 16:3 3 And the second angel poured out his bowl into the sea, and it became blood like that of a dead man, and every living soul died in the sea. [soul refers to men; as for sea creatures, 1/3 of them die in the 2nd Trumpet, Rev. 8:9] Seal 3 (without corresponding Trumpet or Cup), which could be weeks or months before the final day of the 70th Week of Daniel, of the Great Tribulation: Black horse, food shortage, great hunger. Rev 6:5-6 “5 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I looked, and behold a black horse, and he that sat upon it had a pair of scales in his hand. 6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts, saying, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and do not harm the oil and the wine.” Trumpet 3 (= Cup 3): Star "Absinthe", in fire, falls on rivers and fountains, 8 1/3 of the SWEET water becomes bitter [poisonous], many men die. Rev 8:10-11 10 And the third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the springs of the waters. 11 And the name of the star was Wormwood, and the third Some of the water became wormwood, and many men died from the water because it became bitter. Cup 3 (= Trumpet 3): Rivers and fountains [springs] turned to blood. Rev 16:4-7 4 And the third angel poured out his bowl into the rivers and into the springs of water, and they became blood. 5 And I heard the angel of the waters, saying: Righteous are you, O Lord, who are, and who were, and who are to be, because you judged these things.6 Because they shed the blood of the saints and prophets, you also gave them the blood to drink; for they deserve this.7 And I heard another from the altar, saying: Indeed, O Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are your judgments. 9 Seal 4 (without corresponding Trumpet or Cup), which could be days before the final day of the 70th Week of Daniel, of the Great Tribulation: Pale horse, Death and hell over ¼ of humanity (by sword + famine + pestilence + beasts of the earth). Rev 6:7-8 “7 And when I had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast, saying, Come and see. 8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse, and he that sat upon it was called Death; and hell followed him; and power was given unto them to kill the fourth part of the earth, with sword, and with famine, and with pestilence, and with the beasts of the earth.” Trumpet 4 (= Cup 5): 1/3 of the sun, moon and stars are injured, 1/3 of the day and night are darkened. Rev 8:12-13 12 And the fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so that the third part of them would be darkened, and the third part of the day would not shine, and 10 likewise the night. 13 And I looked, and I heard an angel flying in the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Alas! there! there! of those who dwell on the earth! because of the other voices of the trumpets of the three angels that are yet to blow. Cup 4: Sun roasts men with fire. Rev 16:8-9 8 And the fourth angel poured out his bowl upon the sun, and was allowed to scorch men with fire. 9 And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God, who has power over these plagues; and they did not repent to give him glory. Seal 5 (may be just before Trumpet 1 and Bowl 1, which may be in the latter part of the second half of the 70th Week of Daniel): Cry of those who were martyred (for the love of the word of God and for the testimony they gave) and who will still be in heaven Rev 6:9-11 “9 ¶ And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who were killed for the word of God and for the testimony they gave. 10 And they cried out with a loud voice, saying: How long, O true and holy Ruler, wilt thou 11 not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell upon the earth? 11 And they were given white robes to each one, and they were told to rest for a little while longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brothers, who were to be killed as they were, was completed.” Trumpet 5 (= Cup 5): Estrela falls, is given a key, opens the pit of the abyss (smoke darkens the sun and air), where they see locusts (king = Abaddon = Apollyon) that torment for 5 months only those who are not sealed, who seek but cannot find death. Rev 9:1-12 1 And the fifth angel sounded his trumpet, and I saw a star falling from heaven to the earth; and he was given the key to the bottomless pit.2 And he opened the bottomless pit, and smoke rose from the pit, like the smoke of a great furnace, and with the smoke of the pit the sun and the air were darkened.3 And out of the smoke came locusts upon the land; and power was given to them, like the power that the scorpions of the earth have.4 And they were told not to harm the grass of the earth, nor any vegetable, nor any tree, but only to men who have no their foreheads the seal of God.5 And they were 12 permitted, not to kill them, but to torment them for five months; and his torment was like the torment of a scorpion, when it smiteth man.6 And in those days men shall seek death, and shall not find it; and they will desire to die, and death will flee from them.7 And the appearance of the locusts was like the appearance of horses prepared for war; and upon their heads were crowns like gold; and their faces were like the faces of men.8 And they had hair like the hair of women, and their teeth were like lions.9 And they had breastplates like breastplates of iron; and the noise of their wings was like the noise of chariots, when many horses run to battle.10 And they had tails like scorpions, and stings in their tails; and his power was to harm men for five months.11 And they had a king over them, the angel of the abyss; in Hebrew his name was Abaddon, and in Greek Apollyon.12 Past is already a woe; behold, after this come two more woes. Cup 5 (= Trumpet 4 and/or 5): Darkness over the beast realm. Because of wounds and pain, men bite their tongues, blaspheme, and do not repent. Rev 16:10-11 10 And the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the 13 throne of the beast, and his kingdom became dark; and they bit their tongues in pain.11 And because of their pains, and because of their wounds, they blasphemed the God of heaven; and they did not repent of their works. Seal 6 (= Trumpet 7 = Cup 7): great earthquake, sun black as sackcloth, moon like blood, stars fall to earth, sky is rolled up like a book, mountains and islands removed, from kings to servants hide in caves “Hide us... from the wrath of the Lamb ...great day of his wrath.” Rev 6:12-17 “12 And when I had opened the sixth seal, I looked, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth, and the moon became like blood; 13 And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as when a fig tree casts out its unripe figs when it is shaken by a strong wind. 14 And the sky withdrew like a scroll that is rolled up; and all the mountains and islands were removed from their places. 15 And the kings of the earth, and the great, and the rich, and the tribunes, and the mighty, and every servant, and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains; 16 And they said to the mountains and rocks, Fall upon 14 us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth upon the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb; 17 For the great day of his wrath is coming; and who can survive?” Trumpet 6 (= Cup 6): 4 angels of the Euphrates [to dry it]. 1/3 of men are killed by angels, through fire + smoke + sulfur from the mouths of the horses of 200 million horsemen. Too many men don't repent. Rev 9:13-21 13 And the sixth angel sounded his trumpet, and I heard a voice coming from the four horns of the golden altar, which was before God, 14 saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, Release the four angels, who are imprisoned by the great river Euphrates.15 And the four angels were released, which were prepared for the hour, and day, and month, and year, to kill the third part of the men.16 And the number of the armies of the horsemen was of two hundred million; and I heard their number.17 And so I saw the horses in this vision; and they that rode upon them had breastplates of fire, and of hyacinth, and of sulfur; and the heads of the horses were like the heads of lions; and out of their mouths came fire and smoke and brimstone.18 By these 15 three a third of the men were killed, that is, by the fire, smoke, and sulfur that came out of their mouths.19 For the power of horses is in their mouth and on their tails. For their tails are like serpents, and they have heads, and with them they do harm.20 And the other men, who were not killed by these gas, they did not repent of the works of their hands, so as not to worship demons, and idols of gold, and of silver, and of bronze, and of stone, and of wood, which can neither see, nor hear, nor walk. 21 And they did not repent of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts. Cup 6 (= Trumpet 6): [the Euphrates dried up,] 3 unclean spirits gather the kings of the earth in Armageddon, for battle. Rev 16:13-16 13 And out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet, I saw three unclean spirits come out, like frogs. 14 For they are the spirits of devils, which do wonders; who go out to meet the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them together for battle, in that great day of God 16 Almighty.15 Behold, I come like a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his clothes, lest he go naked, and his shame be not seen. 16 And they gathered them together in the place which in Hebrew is called Armageddon. (parenthesis) Rev 7:1-8 (the 144,000 (literal) Jews converted in the Tribulation); Rev 7:9-17 (countless multitude of those saved and martyred in the Tribulation) Rev 7:1-8 1 And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth, so that no wind should blow on the earth, or on the sea, or on any tree. 2 And I saw another angel ascending from the side of the rising sun, having the seal of the living God; and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom power had been given to harm the earth and the sea, 3 Saying, Harm not the earth, nor the sea, nor the trees, until we have sealed in their foreheads the servants of our God. 4 And I heard the number of those sealed, and there were one hundred and forty-four thousand sealed, from all the tribes of the children of Israel. 5 Of the tribe of Judah there were twelve thousand sealed; of the tribe of Reuben, twelve thousand sealed; of the 17 tribe of Gad, twelve thousand sealed; 6 Of the tribe of Asher, twelve thousand sealed; of the tribe of Naphtali, twelve thousand sealed; of the tribe of Manasseh, twelve thousand sealed; 7 Of the tribe of Simeon, twelve thousand sealed; of the tribe of Levi, twelve thousand sealed; of the tribe of Issachar, twelve thousand sealed; 8 Of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve thousand sealed; of the tribe of Joseph, twelve thousand sealed; of the tribe of Benjamin, twelve thousand sealed. ACF2007 Rev 7:9-17 9 After these things I looked, and behold, a multitude, which no one could number, from all nations, and tribes, and peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes with palms in their hands; 10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth on the throne, and to the Lamb. 11 And all the angels were around the throne, and the elders, and the four beasts; and they fell before the throne on their faces, and worshiped God, 12 Saying, Amen. Praise, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honor, and power, and strength to our God, forever and ever . Amen. 13 And one of the elders spoke to me, saying: These which are clothed in white robes, who are they, and whence have they come? 14 And I said 18 unto him, Lord, thou knowest. And he said unto me, These are they which have come out of the great tribulation, and have washed their clothes, and have made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 Therefore they stand before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will overshadow them. 16 They will never be hungry again, they will never be thirsty again; neither sun nor any calm will fall on them. 17 For the Lamb that is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them, and will guide them to the living springs of water; and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.” Trumpet 7 (= Seal 6 = Cup 7): The kingdoms of the world become the kingdom of our God and his Christ. Lightning, voices, thunder, earthquakes, great hail. Rev 11:15-19 20 15 And the seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of the world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign forever and ever. 16 And the twenty-four elders , who sat on their thrones before God, fell on their faces and worshiped God, 17 Saying: We thank you, Lord God
