INTRODUCTION

1.1. Background

The establishment of Muara Bungo Universily begon with the formation of

the Bungo Education Fondation based on the dead of Nolans Supravilno, SH
number 26 dated 12 August 2006 then with the issuance of the decree of the
ministker OF EDUCATION wasional Of the Republic of Indonesia number
01/0/0/2008 dated 22 May, 2008 Concerning the granting of permils to organize
Prodroms Shodi Haru and the change in the form of the Muara Bungo agricultural
and high school to the Muara Bungo Vniversity of Jambi province was
empowered by the vedent of Bungo, or Muara Bungo was officially founded.

1.2. Objective

The purpose of the work field work practice activity is:

 Undertake various internship activities and study management and

activities carried out by Muara Bungo University.
 Prepare students to enter the world of work and provide the skills needed
in the world of work.
 Adding experience and insight into the working world of professional
companies engaged in the field of education.
 The process of applying the knowledge or competencies gained during the
education period in the world of work.

1.3. Benefit

 Increase insight and knowledge, and experience, especially in the field of

administration.
 Make students trained in typing and know how to make reports.
 With the interaction of internships and educational interactions,a good
relationship is created by exchanging information between Muara Bungo
University and field work practice .

1.4. Field Work Practice Method

1.4.1. Time and place

This filed work practice activity was carried out in approximately 4-5
months starting from January 9 to May 9. The work internship activity was carried
out at Muara Bungo University on Jalan Diponegoro No. 27 Rimbo Tengah
Campus 11.

1.4.2. Implementation method

Muara Bungo University's field work practice activities are guided by field
and academic leaders in this work internship activity as facilitators who provide
instructions and information for participants and interns according to topics that
have been discussed for a long time during the field work practice activity.

1. Work practice

The work implementation method is carried out with the hope that interns
will be able to apply the tridharma of higher education in accordance with the
field of research and service education, in the field of special education for the
purposes studied by UMB which is carried out by Muara Bungo University.

2. Interview and observation

Interviews and observations in street vendors' activities are carried out to

obtain information by asking questions directly to the pki supervisor or consulting
the street vendor as a facilitator. To provide in accordance with the topics that
have been discussed, the target of implementing PKL or field work practice.

3. Data recording

Data recording is needed in internship activities at Muara Bungo

University, processes and data, namely primary and secondary data. Primary and
secondary data are data collected by apprentices directly from the first source and
then used to support carrying out work activities.

4. Documents

The documentation implementation method is carried out with the aim of

completing the Information chtained so that it more fully shows the clarity of the
information provided according to the topic being discussed.

MUARA BUNGO UNIVERSITY PROFILE

2.1. Description of UMB

Muara Bungo University is a place for higher education in higher education

after high school has finished.

Education is a basic need in life that every person has. Education cannot be
separated from the academic field, namely teaching and learning.

Learning is a theory and science that cannot be separated from education.

Education to get knowledge about all fields. To get knowledge one has to read by
reading, one gets a technology for that, a library is needed at a university.

2.2. Brief History Of UMB

Muara Bungo University (UMB) is a private tertiary institution located in Bungo

Regency, Jambi Province, Indonesia, founded on May 22, 2008 with the first
rector being DR. HUSIN ILYAS. SH, MH, and at that time Muara Bungo
University was led by PROF.,DR,H ILSYAMSURIJAL TAN, S.E,M.A.

RESULT AND DISCUSSION

3.1. Description of PKL Activities

The field work practice activity was carried out at Muara Bungo University.
The field work practice activity carried out by the author lasted 512 hours with 8
hours of work a day and in 6 out of 1 week the main activity was at Muara Bungo
University.

3.2. Relationship to UMB PKL Activities

Field work practice activities are a form of practice for several UMB field
work practice activities. It can be said that these internship activities are
simulation practices carried out based on the theory obtained from field work
practice activities that can be "additional knowledge for analyzing a system at
Muara Bungo University.

3.3. Challenges from Activities

During the field work practice there are many activities - work activities that
are rarely or have never been done before. This is a challenge in it self in
undertaking field work practice activities. The next challenge for individuals is to
overcome. These challenges, as stated in the previous chapter, include the
activities undertaken by, among others, undertaking field work practice activities.

3.4. PKL Activities That Can Change Mindset

After carrying out field work practice activities at Muara Bungo University,
you will receive benefits or knowledge, including knowledge about the world of
work.

3.5. The Things That Need to be Prepare for the Future

 You have to be strong and don't feel weak, start thinking positively about
the challenges around you
 Know yourself
 Sharpen your skills
 Control emotions
 Be a listener

CLOSING

1.1. Conclusion

The conclusions from field work practice (PKL) :

 After carrying out the implementation, students gain a lot of additional

insight into the field of work
 In street vendors activities students are able to apply the knowledge gained
during the street vendors process
 After carrying out PKI, students gain a lot of experience in the field of
work by facing real problems that occur in the world of work, which is
also able to shape students' mentality for work experience when they
graduate later.
