Retrieving Audio Unit/Audio-Navigation Unit Anti-Theft Codes
AFFECTED VEHICLES General Information EDITOR’S NOTE: This article replaces “Getting Radio Codes from DCS,” posted in March 1999. Are you seeing the message Call Warranty, getting an anti-theft code that doesn’t work, or not getting a code when doing an anti-theft code inquiry? If so, it means that code can’t be found and you’ll need to call the Warranty Department at 310-783-3240 to get it. Don’t call Tech Line for support. If you run into one of the situations listed above, check the serial number on the unit label to make sure it’s the same one displayed on the unit. If it’s not, use the serial number on the unit label and try again. If you still don’t get the anti-theft code, call the Warranty Department for assistance. Just so you know, there’s also a handy website you can go to that will retrieve the code. It’s the Honda Owners Site at http://owners.honda.com.
