ABSTRACT

Software applications and the users of this application are growing day by day. There is almost
every field of life where software applications are essential. One of these fields is dentistry where
patient record management is very important.

Keeping this space in mind, we decided to develop a system for dentists to keep their patients
history record.

INTRODUCTION

1.1 Project overview

We designed a project that manages the basic needs of the patient and doctor that are being provided by the Dental
Management system. This is an online system through which the patient will get the maximum benefit. The patient
can view appointment time and book the appointment as well as the live chat is available for patient.

1.2 Problem statement

In today’s world we are basically working on things that would ultimately benefit the mankind. Nowadays we are
facing many issues related booking timing of doctors. The patient has to physically go to dentist clinic. Therefore, a
new system is needed that would provide patient online facility for consultation with booking. System will provide
facility to patient for reservation by a secure method and complete identification of the customer. Vendors are also
being verified before registration. The customer can provide feedback for the services rendered. Payment would be
made through credit card.
The people who are impacted by our dental management system are our stakeholders who are as follows
