Dear Students,
Welcome to Research Methods course/module. You are required to reviw the enclosed article entitled “
Green supply chain management in small and medium enterprises: Further empirical thoughts from
South Africa.” You are advised to consider the set of criteria given belowin your review.

The submission date for the research proposal will be communicated in class. Please note that late
submissions will not receive a grade. You are kindly requested to complete and submit your
assignmnets in advance to avoid a last-minute rush. Cheating and paljarism are outright forbidden,
strongly discouraged, and punished at the aau school of commerce.

In order to give enough room for comments, you must also use times new roman font style, 12 font
sizes, 1.5" margins on all sides, and double spacing. You must send both hard copies and electronic
copies. Use the highlighted email address (getie1968@gmail.com) for the soft copy, when needed.

II. Detailed Article Review Guidelines

The set of criteria that will be used to review each major section of the article summarized below.

1. Research Title and Reporting Format Items For Discussion /Checklist

 Appropriateness of the Research topic with respect to the content

of the article
 The research report is written and organized based on accepted
format.
2. Quality of the abstract Items For Discussion /Checklist

 A brief theme sentence to orient the reader about the overall issues
used,
 Clarity of objective/purpose
 Research methodology used,
 Major findings of the study,
 Contribution of the study.
 Indication of future area of investigation

 The number of words in the abstract within acceptable range?
