USING INDUCTIVE METHOD

1. Define multiplication;
2. Multiply 1-digit by 1-digit numbers;
3. Use multiplication in solving mathematical sentence; and
4. Solve word problems involving multiplication of one-digit by one-digit number.

Inductive method presents first the examples, analyze the examples and followed by the
formulation of the generalization / rule by the students. This is also called discovery method or
discovery approach.

Inductive Method is used in teaching mathematical processes such as addition, subtraction,


multiplication and division. and teaching subject matter like correct usage in either English or Filipino
