ABSTRACT

Like most villages in Indonesia, pringu is one of many villages that faced the waste disposal problem.
To face this problem, we try to reduce the amount of waste that goes into the last waste disposal by
teaching the local inhabitant on how to process organic matter like the skin of fruits and the unused
part of vegetables into ecoenzyme liquid that’s relatively simple to make. The socialization took place
at the village hall with the local female representative of each RT/RW as the participants. From the
outlook,The activity got positive responses from the participant shown by the frequent contact after
the socialization was done.

BACKGROUND

Pringu village is one of many villages in Kecamatan Bululawang that faced the waste disposal
problem. the problem occurs as the last waste disposal in pringu village can’t handle the amount of
waste that goes into it causing it to overflow. Therefore, to reduce the amount of waste we turned
the organic waste like the skin of fruits and unused parts of vegetables into a highly valuable and
versatile product, such as ecoenzyme.

Purposes

1. identifying the problems regarding waste in pringu village

2. Choosing the most appropriate measure that can appliacte by the local inhabitants
3. Socialize and demonstrate the processing method of creating ecoenzyme to local inhabitants
4. Reducing the amount of organic waste that goes into the final waste disposal
5. Increasing the livelihood of the local inhabitants by spreading the useage of ecoenzyme

METHOD

1. Identifying the wastes problem in Pringu Village

2. Choosing the most appropriate measure that can be implemented by the local inhabitants
3. Trials of creating Ecoenzyme
4. Socializing and demonstrating the processing method of creating ecoenzyme to the local
inhabitants

RESULT

The people in Pringu seem interested and enthusiast regarding the usage of ecoenzyme. They
actively participate in the discussion regarding making ecoenzyme. The enthusiasm can be seen from
the question that are asked to the student while the socialization was still ongoing and can still be
seen even after he socialization was over.

Conclusion

Based on the observation that was being done, the socialization and demonstration that was shown
to the people of Pringu have achieved its purposes. It has brought new knowledge that easy and
cheap to implement which can be used to not only improve their finansial situation by substitute
some of the daily product with ecoenzyme, buat also reduce the organic waste that is delivered to
the final waste disposal in Pringu village.
