system has tripped. After checking, two cables between the two phases, the blue and yellow
cables in one lamp came into contact and caused the MCB on the feeder pillar to trip.

3. First, we take the current reading for every phase cable which is red, yellow, and blue on the
feeder pillar. Then, we separated the two wires and reconnected them to the streetlamp
point so that a short circuit does not occur. Finally, we take the current reading again on the
streetlamp when the MCB is turned on.

Activities Description:

1. Received a complaint about the street lights at Pantai Cahaya Bulan that always trip,
especially during this rainy season, causing the street to be dark at night. Therefore, we
check the feeder pillar for this street lighting system.

2. First, we check if there are current going in and out on the MCCB. Then we cover the light
sensor with black plastic to see which light bulb is not on. Then the problem found is when
finding a street lamp that does not have a cover door. That is why the MCB often trips when
it rains, causing contact between the phase wires.

3. Then we disconnect the wires for the street lights that don't have the cover door for a while
before replacing them with new cover door. This is so that other street lights can turn on to
brighten the road for a while.

Activities Description:

1. Visited the Kelantan state government secretary's office (SUK) because we received a
complaint that some levels of the building were always cut off or tripped especially when it
rained. This may be because there is a leak in the conduit or trunking of the electrical wiring.

2. Chargeman inspected the DB at that level, and it looked like there might be a scratched wire
because the sharp trunking corners from the inside had sliced through the rubber insulation
of the wire. There may also be from a damaged lamp ballast. That are the problem identified
because it often trips when it rains. Then our chargeman has decided to come back later to
calculate the estimated cost to repair the wiring.

3. There is also a problem with the building's letter lights that have not been light on for a long
time. After checking with a multimeter, the problem is because the power supply is damaged.
There is no current and voltage coming out of the power supply.

Activities Description:

1. There are complaints about street lights not turning on due to tripping. When checking the
feeder pillar, there are three MCBs that trip simultaneously. This happens because there is a
street lamp where the three phase wires are in contact.

2. Therefore, my job is to turn the MCB on and off according to the instructions of the
technician through the walkie talkie to make it easier to find where the wires are touching. If
the MCB still trips, I have to turn it back on so they can trace the cause between the 3 phase
wires. Finally the cause can be found which is that there is a wire that is not tight and there is
no cover door on the street light pole.

1. Looking for street lights that don't have a cover because there are frequent trips during this
ongoing rainy season.

2. This is also an instruction from the Chief Engineer because lately there have been frequent
trips on street lights that disturb road users at night in Kelantan. This is because rainwater
will enter the pole hole and cause a short when it touches the wire.

3. The only material used is a large PVC pipe that is cut in half to match the size of the street
lamp. This is because it is cheap, durable, and very easy to install on the street lights. Just
use a self drilling screw to attach the cover. Therefore the street lights can be protected from
rainwater.

2. Therefore, we count and mark each lamp, socket, air conditioner, and DB to sketch them into

and unstable because there are a lot of new wiring that has been done by other contractors.

3. Finally, the staff has consulted with the Imam that we will come back later with other JKR

will appoint a qualified contractor to rewiring this system.

2. From here, I was able to learn about how to do this earthing and insulation testing at the

spike arrangement and finally the sum of all the readings is added and divided by three to
get the value average for that reading. The reading should not be greater than 10 Ohm.
