Creeds For Religious Ideologies
Creeds For Religious Ideologies
The key topics to address in the study of the theology or ideology of the world’s religions
are:
For each religion, I have tried to find resources that are relatively unbiased and not overly
prone to proselytising. We still need to recognise, however, that all these resources are still
produced by people who will hold some position related to religion. Some sources are from
non-religious academic organisations, some are from religious organisations (but seem to
be focussed on education), and some are produced by individuals (which probably need to
be treated a little carefully, as they may not be as robust as collaborative resources). I would
suggest that for every source of information, you try to find the ‘about us’ or ‘who we are’
page so you can know more about who has produced the information before you use it. Any
information is only as good as the person or the people who produced it.
