1.1InstallSoftware
Before installing your software, it is better to shutdown all the otherapplicationprograms,inordertokeepaway conflict. Please put the software CD into CDROM, it will run automaticallyandpopuplanguageselectiondialog.

SelecttheLanguage,click [OK], and enterfollowing interface.

This window is to confirm the name which is created in [Start/Program] item. Click [Next] button, display following interface.

Afterenterintothisinterface,itismeansthatyouhavefinishall configuretosetup,ifwanttomodify,click [Back]toreturn,otherwise click [Install], the installing program will copy and write corresponding information into hard disk, After finish installation, click [Finish]tocompletetheprocess.

If you do not need to use this software any more, and want to uninstallitfromyourcomputer,thenmayfollownextstepstooperate: 1.ClosetheAccessControlReaderSoftwarecomplete. 2.EnterStart/Controlpanel. 3.EnterAdd/CancelProgramwindow,chooseAccessControl ReaderSoftware,andclick [Remove]buttontouninstall. Like doing this, you still cannot delete all files. You need enter the install directory of the software to delete the folder where the softwareinstalled.

3.1User Fingerprint
1.EnrollUserFingerprint Enroll with FP Sensor: If you need to use the FP Sensor to enroll user fingerprint, please install the FP Sensor driver program first. The driver is under the Driver directory in software CD. After complete to install the driver, connect the FPsensor to the PC USB port.ThecurrentsoftwareversionsupportstousetheU areUseries, ZK4000/6000/7000FPsensorand etc. (1)Select[EnrollwithSensor]in UserInformationMaintenance interface, click [Enroll] button, and enter the fingerprint enrollment interface,asshownbelow.

(2) Click the finger which fingerprint is to be enrolled, and the systementerstheinterface toenroll,asshownbelow:

(3) Afterthe fingerfinishes3times press onthe FPSensor,the system promptSucceedinfingerprintregistration,shownasblow.

3.3UploadandDownload
1. From PC to Device: the user which is store in the database willbeuploadedtotheFPReader,click[FromPCtoDevice],popup theinterfacetouploadusersdata.

Upload: Based your need, select the staff and a uploading FP Reader,click[Upload],itisabletoupload usersdatatothe defined FPReader,itisbettertoselect[Fingerprint]and[UserFace]inthe normalcondition.Iftheinformationneedsnottobemodified,itisno needtochoose it. Notice: Users data include user information, fingerprint and user face. Delete:IfyouwanttodeleteauserinaFPReader,firstchoose userandcorresponding FPReader,andthenclick [Delete] button.

Batch:Utilizethis functiontospeed upcommunication whena lotofusersdataareuploaded,itisntneedtoafewusers(suchasless than 30users). 2.FromDevicetoPC:TheuserwhichisstoreintheFPReader willbedownloadedtothelocaldatabase,click[FormDevicetoPC], popuptheinterface todownloadusersdata.

Select a FP Reader number to download users information whichisontheleftsidelist,click [BrowseUsersin Device],itisable todisplayallusersintheFPReader.Selecttheusertobedownloaded, click the [Download] button to download the user data from FP Readertolocaldatabase. ViewUserintheDevice: Displayallusersinthe FPReader. Download:Downloaduserdatatobeselected. Delete:IfyouwanttodeleteauserinaFPReader,firstchoose user,andthenclick [Delete]button.

Baud Rate: Select the same baud rate as the FP Reader. The defaultvalueis115200atitsoriginalsetup. Communication key: It isnt need to fill the pass word in the defaultcondition,ifthereisasetuppasswordintheFPReader,please inputcorrectpassword. Machinenum,CommunicationkeyandMachineNameisthe sameconfigureasRS232/RS485. There are three ways for abovementioned FP Reader communication. User can choose different way to connect, after completesetup,click[TestConnection]buttonunderwindowtotest, popup Successfully Connect, and then click [OK] button to save the connecting parameters of this FP Reader. If the system popup Fail Connect dialog, please check the parameters and try again. Addthenextfingerprintreaderasthisprocedure. Note: If you use RS232 to communicate, recommend to adopting 115200BaudRate,ifyouuseRS485tocommunicate,bettertoutilize 38400BaudRate.

DefinedFormat:Thisformathasbeendefinedandbuiltinthesystem, it isnt need that user define the length of Bit and the location of information. There are four default defined format: wiegand26 with deviceID,wiegand34with deviceID,wiegand26withoutdeviceID, wiegand34withoutdeviceID.Thewiegand26withdeviceIDmeans that the wiegand26 output format along with equipment ID number. The wiegand26 without device ID point that the wiegand26 output formatdoesntowntheunitID.HeretheequipmentIDisdefinedby following: If there is no set of the site code, then it will output machine code. And if the site code has been set, it will output the definedsitecode(whichissimilartothemachinecode,itisdifferent that this code is defined by user and can recycle to use, range is 0255). FailID:ExportFailIDafterverifiedisfail,noexportwhenithasnot beenselected.Itsoutputrangeis065534.

If the score resulting from template comparison exceeds the threshold, the templates are a match (though the templates themselves are not identical). ThedefaultvalueisMiddle,youcanmodifyit. Fingerprint1:1Threshold:Itmeansthatmatchfingerprintthreshold afterpresentingthe card,thedefaultvalueisMiddle. Face1:Nthreshold:ThedefaultvalueisMiddle,youcanmodify it. Face 1:1 threshold: It means that match user face threshold after presentingthecard,thedefaultvalueisMiddle. Only 1:1 Match: This feature is only available that a user own fingerprint, ID card or Mifare card for verification, can configure [Only1:1Match],ifyouchoose[Yes]tothissetup,mustfirstpresent a card, and then press fingerprint. If doesnt slide a card, thereis no reflecttofingerprintintheunit. Only Verify ID Card: It is mainly designed for ID card, when you choose[Yes], a user directly use ID card to verify enough, to verify doesnt need to press fingerprint. When you choose it as [NO], you mustverifyfingerprintafterpresentthecarduntilpass Must Register Mifare Card: There are two statuses to register a Mifarecard,ifthecardwasconfiguredto[MustRegister],itisonly to verify the user whos ID has stored in the FP Reader. The user withoutIDnumberwillnotbeverified.Whenyouchoosetheitemas [NO],nomatterthereareusersIDinformationintheunitwhetheror not, it will export as the user and fingerprint template is verified successfully.

4.5PowerManagement
Click [Power] button, and then click [Read Options] button, display thefollowing interface.

Firstly read the parameter of [Power], modify the state of [Idle Setup] and minutes of [Idle Time], then click the [Set Options] to completeset.Whentheidletimeis0,thentheidlesetupfunctionis off.Whenthe valuemorethan0,themachinewillenterintoidlestate afterarrivesatdefinetime.Youcanresumenormalworkingstatevia pressthebuttononthetopofreader.

Lock Control Delay: Apply to determine unlock hour, the min measuredunitis20ms,inthenormalconditionis100200ms. AntiPassSetting AntiPassMode:Canbesetto"None","Out",In,InOut. Mastersrecordstate:CanbesettoNone,Out,In. DoorSensorSetting Sensor Mode: Set Door Sensor Mode. It can be set to None, NOpen,NClosestate. NormallyOpen:Setdoorstatetoopeninnormalsituation. NormallyClose:Setdoorstatetocloseinnormalsituation. None:Donotusedoorsensor. SensorDelay:Setthesensordelaytimewhenthedoorisopened. After this defined time the sensor detect the door state. If the door state is not consistent the alarm will be triggered. Black and white screendevicerange is0254.Colorscreendevicerange is099. Sensor Alarm: Set the alarm time delay after the alarm is triggered.Range is0999seconds. Error times to alarm: Define the max error times to trigger

alarm.Whentheverifyisnotthrough,andexceedthisdefinedtimes, thealarmsignalwillbetriggeredautomatically.

4.7Mifare
Click [ReadOptions]in [Mifare]menu,display asfollowing.

FP Count:HowmanyfingerprintsdostoreintheMifarecard. Start sector for FP: The first sector of Mifare card to store fingerprint. Sector countforFP:Fingerprintappropriatetotalsector. Cardkey:Readandwritepasswordofcard,youcanonlysetup, cant read it.

Click [OtherSetup],andthenclick [ReadOptions],thefollowing interface appear.

RestartDevice:ClickthebuttontorestartFPReader. Clear admin privilege: This function can clear all administer privilegewhichhasregisteredinthereader. Update firmware: We suggest that user doesnt usethis function at random. Afterreceiversthe manufactory notice, executeitaccording totheguide the factoryoffered. InitialDevice:ThisfunctionismainlyusedtoclearalldataintheFP Reader. Capture Fingerprint: This function can be used to view fingerprint image,ifwanttoinspectfingerprintimage,pleaseplacefingeronthe sensorwindow,don'tmove,andthenclickthebutton,andwillseethe fingerprintimage. Dateformat:Selectthedateformatinthedowndropmenu,thisdate formatisthedatedisplayformatonthedevicestartinginterface. Voicefunction:Includingvoice,voiceverifies,keypadvoice,youcan choose to open or close. You can set the voice volume too. This function is available in the FP Reader which supports voice hint function.

YoucanusetheAccessManagementsoftwaretosettheUdisk configuration file. When the device is connected with U disk, it can executeoperationssuchasRecorddownload,Userdownload,Upload usersandUpdatefirmware. UsingPCsoftwaretocreateandmodifyconfigurationfilessteps: 1.Click[Udisk]in[Device manage] menu,enterthefollowing interface.

System Management includes Operator Management, System OperationLog,BackupDatabase,ClearObsolete Data,InitialSystem, SetPasswordofDatabase andSystemOptions.

5.1OperatorManagement
Click[OperatorManagement]inthe[SystemManage]menu, Popupthemaininterfaceofadministersmaintained,likeasfollowing

Click [Administrator], Popup the three item of [Add department Administrator], [Add Administrator] and [Delete Administrator].Click[AddAdministrator],andthen popupauser listframe,selectausertobeaddingasanadministrator,andtheclick [OK]topopupadistributingprivilegelist,asfollowingfigure.

Putaremarkintheadministratorprivilege,andthenclick[OK]. If want to cancel administrator, select the Administrator firstly, and then click [Delete Administrator] to complete the operation process. The operation of [Add department Administrator] is same to [AddAdministrator]. It is able to modify administrator password and operation privilegeafteranadministratorisadded.

5.2SystemOperationLog
The system operation Log is a track record which records this softwareoperationhistory,andutilizelistmodetorecordalloperation. Click[Delete],thisoperationisavailabletodeleteoperationlogtothe definedpreviousdate,appearfollowingfigure.

5.3DataMaintenance
TheDatamaintenanceis,consistupBackupDatabase,Compact the Database,ClearObsoleteData,threemodulebuild up. 1.BackupDatabase Click[BackupDatabase]inthe[SystemManage]menu,popup adialogboxtobackup database,you can nameitas yourfavor,and saveitinthedefinedlocation.

2.Compact theDatabase Click [Compact the Database] in the [Data Maintenance] menu,to compactthe database,itisonlycapabletoAccessDatabase. 3.Clear ObsoleteData You can use this function to clear old data which are useless to utility,click [Clear ObsoleteData]inthe [DataMaintenance]. Clickthedowndropmenutochoosethedate,andselecttheold recordbackupdirectory,thenclick [OK]buttontoclearolddata. Notice: The delete content doesnt include the ending date be selected.

5.4InitializeSystem
Click [System Init] in the [System Manage] menu, popup a warndialogsbox,likeasfollowingfigure,executesthecommandall the system will be initialized, after this operation all data will be

6.1StartMonitor

In the absence of monitor situation, in order to download the system records, you can right click the device, the operation menu appears.Click[DownloadLog],thedialogpopupasbelow.
