Falling action

his help fighting a large fire that broke out at a paint warehouse. Having
narrowly missed the chance, he is wracked with guilt, believing that his father
might have been saved if there had been one more rescuer. He decides to rush to
the scene to help. He recklessly runs into the fire, without a gas mask, just
before the building collapses, searching for the last victim trapped inside. To his
shock, the person is Mitch. He and Mitch apologize for their treatment of each
other, and Taylor makes up with Holton.
Resolution
Denise, tired from her shift and anticipating a quiet night, arrives home to find
Taylor waiting for her. Despite their past, Taylor is visibly distressed and
expresses remorse, revealing a traumatic childhood experience. He recounts a
night when, as a child, he inadvertently caused a fire that took his father's life.
Denise listens as Taylor describes the harrowing events, his father's sacrifice,
and the lasting impact on his life. Overwhelmed by guilt, Taylor breaks down,

him, realizing the deep pain he has carried for years.
