ROUND 1 [SPEAKER 3]

JINSHO

Corrupted Unions can never serve the people. They only serve the
interests of the corrupt. And corrupted trade unions which work for
the benefits of the ruling class are socialist? WOW! Funny right!
Good morning to one and all present here, I, Jinsho Blesslin,
representing THE VELAMMAL INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, stand before
you today as a third speaker to rebut my well and worthy opponents.

According to all the arguments my teammates have put forward, the

opponent’s rebuttals are not convincing enough. The speaker 1 of
the preposition put forward a question asking the opposition how
corrupted trade unions are socialist when corruption causes lack of
unity and many other problems undermining socialism, it is out of
the question that trade unions still stand for the idea of socialism.
The opposition gave their rebuttal
that_____________________________________________________
__________. However, this is not up to the mark
because_________________________________________________
____________________________________________.

The speaker 2 of the preposition put forward another question

asking the opposition as how corrupted trade unions are socialist
when trade unions themselves were never created to fight for
socialism.
The opposition replied
that_____________________________________________________
_____________________________. However, even this is not up to
par
because_________________________________________________
________________________________________________________
_________________________.

From each and every single argument in today’s debate, the

preposition stands on the right side as corrupted trade unions are
not socialist. Trade unions were never created to fight for socialism
and corrupted trade unions being socialist is impossible. Trade
unions which experience so many problems due to corruption mainly
lack of unity and trust among the members cannot represent
socialism. Trade unions cannot be neglected in today’s world
because they provide so much for the welfare of the workers. It is
very futile to argue that trade unions are socialist when they clearly
are not. In the well fought arguments, this house still believes that
corrupted trade unions are not socialist. Thus the preposition’s
arguments are clearly triumphant.

Trade unions which involve political parties and large businesses

betray the workers because they might use the trade unions for the
welfare and the benefits of the parties and the business owners. This
will silence the voice and interests of many of the workers within the
trade unions. Trade unions cannot be corrupted because the idea of
solidarity will also be corroded. Therefore, by taking all the
arguments in today’s debate into consideration, it is clear that trade
unions which are corrupted by the ruling class cannot be socialist. It
is important to remember that trade unions created by workers are
no longer controlled by workers due to corruption. Therefore, THIS
HOUSE STRONGLY BELIEVES THAT TRADE UNIONISM HAS BEEN
LARGELY CORRUPTED BY THE RULING CLASS AND IS NO LONGER A
VIABLE STRUCTURE FOR A SOCIALIST ORGANIZATION.
